[SNIP]

Nagl confiscated the drugs and his son’s cell phone as punishment but later found the phone was missing when he went to show his estranged wife the drugs. He confronted his son who refused to turn over the phone. The kid gets his dad a year in prison and a spot on the unemployment line for trying to pound a little sense in him. Bet mom takes the kid’s side. That’s how it goes these days.

Unbelievable. His son sounds like a piece of work. Instead of taking away the phone, just disconnect the punks service.

There’s no way I could have been this way with my father when I was a teenager. NO WAY.

There was a time when cold cocking the little bastard would have resulted in the police laughing at the kid and him learning a little respect for rules and Authority.

Junior will become a leader of a SJW chapter at SUNY or some other feminized Liberal Indoctrination Plantation.

And now his career has been ruined because his son is a dumbass. What a genetic disappointment.

Wouldn’t work if the kid is at all tech savvy. He could still make calls or text using any number of free services as long as he could connect to wifi.

Nagl is a good guy! I’ve heard him speak. I feel bad for him, his son must be a real SOB. Sad that this personal situation bled into his professional life.

Simple assault in this case is a third-degree misdemeanor punishable by up to one year in prison.

If found guilty say good bye to your 2nd amendment rights John.

Legal questions: Who had title to the phone? If it belonged to the father, could he have charged his son with theft for failing to give it back on request? Important because the cops tend to listen more to the first person to call them.

Sort of beside the point, though.

I tell people to let the little creeps go. Do not try to confront an unwilling teen.

They have all the power, and the best you can do is give them their freedom, and get rid of them. And they lie.

Who, the kid who sicced the police on his dad or the chairman of the board who suspended him? If you meant Nagl, I'd suggest you have that jerking knee checked out.

If he headed an upright household he wouldn’t have these problems.

“If he headed an upright household he wouldn’t have these problems.”

Be fair. It seems this man is trying to head an upright household, but has a punk for a son who sicced the police on him. It’s not easy being a parent and sometimes even good parents are undermined by bad kids and by a society that gives children more rights than adults.

Amen! Isn’t that the truth. They aren’t worth the fine/criminal conviction with possible jail time the courts are so eager to impose on a parent parenting.
