Historically, lawyers including prosecution, defense and judges have never taken vote fraud seriously because “everybody does it”. It’s like jaywalking to them.
It’s like jaywalking because in most states, most cases, it is equivalent to jaywalking or a parking ticket. It is a minor offense in most states, most cases because the law was written by incumbent politicians.
It will take a larger, more persistent effort than we have seen so far to change “the system” in this case.
It is overwhelmingly a Democrat phenomenon in Democrat-run jurisdictions. And Congress has limited the GOP’s ability to stop the fraud in a number of GOP run states as well.

Time to get serious on election fraud. And criminal punishment in general. I want to see public stocks, public lashings, and public hangings. Downtown at noon on Saturdays. And hard time in prison.
