If Trump is truly getting 24% of the black vote, then logically Illinois would be in play.
I’d love to believe that but I really think they know IL is in the bag so they’re redeploying resources elsewhere. It’s just like her not to pay the staff though, if that’s true.
I am not sure he should be spending time in Illinois ... if he wants to speak to urban community, then he should do it in Charlotte, Detroit, or Philadelphia. If he’s going to Chicago, then it might have more to do with positive exposure for Chicago’s Trump Hotel (which is beautiful).
