Freepers....

On a tip I went to the UAW's FB page. Read the comments from the Rank and File and their responses to the request to vote for HRC....

Waiting on your feedback. Taildragger

Fascinating. They seem to be almost universally against Clinton! Either Trump or Stein will get their vote. How is she polling in the upper 40’s when the core of her base can’t stand her and won’t vote for her?

Looks like the “Trump Train” is passing through the UAW station & the majority of folks commenting are answering the “All Aboard” call. Nice to see.

I know it must come as a shock but the rank and file don’t listen to the unions. Hubby was a member for 33 years. The heads always support Dems. The rank and file where we live were almost all conservatives. Have heard plenty of arguments in their bar over their endorsements. Lol

Nobody tells me who to vote for. I’m a big boy and can figure it out for myself. “Endorsements” are for drooling, low information idiots.

What a breath of fresh air, union members telling it like it is as if they were one of us.

On the issue of Hillary, they are!

Union members know Hillary would sign TPP trade agreement in her first 6 months which would send another million union jobs overseas during her first term. Those banks and global corporations weren’t paying a quarter million dollars for a forty minute speech. They own her. They want it and she’ll give it to them.

I have 10 relatives in blue collar parts of New Jersey, all Democrats, 8 of them past or current union members. Every single one of them is voting for Trump - first time any one of them has ever voted for a Republican.

True. The most often argument I heard between members and the local union president was......what good does it do us to get good raises and bennies when you guys support Dems who just want to take it all away via higher/more taxes?!?!?!
I used to sit and drink and listen. Lol

>>What a breath of fresh air, union members telling it like it is as if they were one of us.

I’ve been in four unions in my career. The rank and file members of skilled labor unions are one of us. They work, pay bills, raise their families. They pay taxes. They even believe in capitalism: maximizing outputs while minimizing inputs. There’s always a few hard-core Progs who spew the party line, but most of the union membership (again, this is for skilled labor, not the chimpanzees and lizards in the SEIU, AFSCME, and other ditch-digger unions) are conservatives.

And these are just the members who are brave enough to post their support for Trump, I’m sure many are afraid of retaliation by their union and they are lying when they say they support Hillary.

The UAW leaders are getting an earful. I was in the UCFW in the 90s and I hated that they wanted Dems to be elected. I loved my job, but hated I had to spend money to be able to work.

Here's one I like:
What good is it to be in a union if there are no jobs left? The union brass are selling out the rank and file for big money from the Clintons. Don't fall for it. Trump will bring jobs. Hillary brings crime.
Outstanding! The comments are running heavily against Clinton and for Trump. There is active rebellion against the union leadership by the members.

“UAW pensions are paid from stolen money”

Going to make a claim like that at least post links or evidence to back it up. Unions serve a purpose and are necessary, just like colleges, media, and government. However, we live in an age where Marxists have corrupted everything in our country. You would not want to live in America that never had a union movement, trust me.
