Muruna is an Arabic word that means something along the lines of flexibility/adaption/ability to change... In Islamic terms, it means muslims are able to adopt western ways, even those that are haram (shave, clothing, drink alcohol, marry non muslims etc) to 'blend in' and deceive enemies... As long as they can justify that the ultimate goal will be seen as helpful to the dominance of Islam, they are off the hook for those verses that forbid this behaviour... Some say this is what Obama is doing.
Islam is not just straightforward as most people think.
