As you probably heard from Bill Burns there are elements in Ukraine who keep trying to revert to the bad old days. The SBU (who went after have now gone after soros foundation there and there are new media freedom challenges. I hope you'll be able to meet with Yanukovych during UNGA because it's going to take steady engagement from keeping the worst backsliding from happening. I met w Ukr amb and Lou Debaca yesterday to establish ways we can work with them on trafficking. Some officials have reached out to us which is good. Others are going backwards so we want to keep the good progress they've made over the last few years going forward. The amb was grateful so we shall see. I'm en route to India for the Vital Voices Asia summit and for a round of mtgs on the dialogue. W ill see SEW A on cookstoves. Good luck on the Middle East. By the way, it looks like Bachelet will lead UNWomen. I hope that's the case. SG to announce his choice before UNGA. Will let you know as soon as we hear definitively. Thank you for the heads’ up.
Wasn’t sure if you wanted to post this, but we need to get news out FAST.

So if you have any questions, please include him in the post.
I’m just not as knowledgeable as many here.
Thank you, Arthur.
God bless us and our children.
So the Russians were right. organized Soros coup. typical
When I saw the headline, I thought YOU received an email from her directly!
We’re all cuious about Soros to begin with.
... and ...
Yanukovych was so corrupt that the Ukrainians overthrew him in the Orange Revolution:
I think this could be an important find.
Hillary Clintons Ukraine Problem
Hillary and Bill Clinton run the Clinton Foundation, established by the couple. The foundation accepts monetary donations from foreign donors, amassing to billions of dollars. Some of the top donors of the foundation were Ukrainian oligarchs. One of them, Victor Pinchuk, was a former member of the Ukrainian Parliament and a strong advocate of Neoliberalism in Ukraine. Pinchuk became wealthy during chaotic privatization of large state enterprises after the countrys separation from the Soviet Union.
Reader Supported News journalist Steve Weismans report on how the Clinton led State Department laid the foundation for the regime change in Ukraine is an eye opener. It is truly one of the best investigative reporting pieces of our time, beginning with the evidence on the so called rebel who started the revolution against the Viktor Yanukovych administration. A polyglot Afghan immigrant who happened to work as a journalist in the news channel established by, none other than, the US Ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt. Arriving in the Ukrainian capital on August 3 , Pyatt almost immediately authorized a grant for an online television outlet called Hromadske.TV, which would prove essential to building the Euromaidan street demonstrations against Yanukovych.
its a great thread Arthur no question.
Back when all this happened I had posted some article about U.S. involvement in Ukraine and I was called a Putin lover and all kinds of names.
Yanukovych is slime, like his master, Putin.
I believe the hostility towards Russia from the uniparty might have to do with Russia having an international warrant for Soros’ arrest.
Soros funds democrats AND republicans.
SOROS has done more damage in this world than is imaginable. But he masks his evil as doing good, and that is the most dangerous evil.
What does he mean by work with us on trafficking?
You keep up with Ukraine politics?
Wow! I know so little about my FRiends.
I can’t say I keep up with it, but when the events in 2014 were happening, I did. I read zerohedge all the time, and they covered it quite a bit from a business (money and corruption) point of view. They also covered the Syria conflict being a result of the players wanting gas pipelines rights, which some people now are recognizing as true.
