Gun control proponent Gabby Giffords was in Nevada over the weekend campaigning for the same background check her attacker, Jared Loughner, passed to acquire his handgun.
Loughner shot Gabby Giffords on January 8, 2011.
According to Guns.com, Giffordss stop was part of the gun control bus tour she and her husband, Mark Kelly, have been on for 14 weeks. She was in Nevada to push Question 1, which would expand background checks to more gun sales by requiring private sales and transfers to be checked just like retail sales.

Efff her and her evil twin Astro-turd.
Her problem was not having security at a political function.
You mean Mark Kelly was in NV campaigning along with his puppet Gabby.
Too many Californians moved to NV.
Gabby the super walker, will appear with negan this season.
Saw Steve Wynn on Cavuto yesterday talking about this. It sounds ridiculous. To privately sell or transfer a gun you have to go to a gun shop and fill out an affidavit swearing your buyer has never used or possessed any Federally controlled substance even if it is legal in your State, including MJ, testosterone treatments, anti-depressants, etc.
You also have to ascertain whether the buyer has ever been ACCUSED, not convicted or even charged, but simply ACCUSED of committing a crime. This is all part of compliance with the Brady Bill Federal firearms purchase requirements, which are routinely selectively ignored. Which makes it subject to the whim of some bureaucrat whether or not you will be prosecuted for getting it wrong or having the buyer lie to you.
I hope Wynn was wrong, because that is bat___t crazy.
I am going to cut her some slack. After all, she only has half a brain which is more than her husband Astro-Turd has.
Wynn gave money in support of Question 1. Dumbass. Anyway, I just cruised past my local polling station (we voted early) to see if it was busy. Wasn’t busy at all. There was one assclown outside the boundary with a VOTE YES ON 1 sign. I gave him a thumbs down as I cruised past. Oh, location was North Valley High School in Golden Valley/Reno.
I think that was why he was so incensed. On the surface it sounded reasonable — just adopt the Federal gun background check for gun shows is how it was sold to him. Then he apparently found out what he had given his money to and was pissed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jlw7HwXOcfs
“Sorry Steve. No refunds.” Yeah, most of the clueless who signed the petition to get it on the ballot were sold a bill of goods as well. Such as, no more domestic violence. None, not any ever. Bad guys will never be able to buy a gun at a gun show again. Ever. Targeted mostly middle age ladies and younger ladies. Las Vegas may do us in on this one. Pretty sure the party time marijuana law will pass as well. I have to say that the NRA and GOA have done a pretty good job of trying to protect our rights this time around. Was it enough? Sure hope so. End result, mostly ignored by the common man. LEO looking out for violations, probably won’t spend much time on it since there are no provisions for funding investigations.
The ACLU demanded Reagan shut down the mental hospitals during his terms in office.
Now- Those mentally ill persons-—who WERE A CONTAINED PROBLEM—and now an UNCONTAINED PROBLEM. Many are homeless, and are living on the streets. Despite lots of efforts to help them, they pack only seems to keep growing.
Gabby & her ilk want everyone to ‘be free’, but letting the mentally ill run loose in the general population only creates more problems. Gabby was the unfortunate recipient of a major problem.
Now, the LEO’s in the USA are confronting more & more ‘mentally ill” persons and there certainly is NOT a red neon “M” on their foreheads. They are very unpredictable. This isn’t going to improve until we start using mental hospitals again, IMO.
