President-elect Donald J. Trump today announced that Trump for President CEO Stephen K. Bannon will serve as Chief Strategist and Senior Counselor to the President, and Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus will serve as White House Chief of Staff.
Bannon and Priebus will continue the effective leadership team they formed during the campaign, working as equal partners to transform the federal government, making it much more efficient, effective and productive. Bannon and Priebus will also work together with Vice President-elect Mike Pence to help lead the transition process in the run-up to Inauguration Day.
“I am thrilled to have my very successful team continue with me in leading our country,” said President-elect Trump. “Steve and Reince are highly qualified leaders who worked well together on our campaign and led us to a historic victory. Now I will have them both with me in the White House as we work to make America great again.”

OK everybody sounds good but a question did Bannon know Trump from old days or did Palin intro him? Bannon did make Palins movie undefeated.

One of the main things that trips my mind up is the I Before E except after C. His last name follows the rule but his first doesn’t. Thus I will resort to RP
It isn't supposed to be efficient, effective and productive. It's supposed to be limited.
Preibus made sure Trump lost primary in WI. And Trump raised tons of money for RNC and then stopped giving to Preibus last 2 months when Hillary teased him he wasn’t getting money from RNC at the Debate.
Trump from then on stopped fundraising events for RNC and spent the money on his own campaign instead. This is an example that RNC Preibus didn’t keep his word and F-ed Trump.
I like that it seems Ryan may be pushed out the door, I am calling my local Congressment to oust Ryan this Tuesday and I encourage all the Freepers to call for Ryan to get the boot. Ryan is a globalist open borders A-hole who is dispised by Trump’s base.
Bannon is everything Ryan is not and is top self. Bannon will keep Preibus chained to the desk and help Trump beat the media bias and make conservative decisions we will like.
Bannon was a Naval Commander, smooth sailing and bright sunrises and sunsets aheads.

He kept getting Johnny and Haji out of trouble, but they kept getting back in again. If he had been any sort of baby sitter or body guard, he would have shipped the two to separate boarding schools. Sim Sim Salabeen my a@#$e.
Priebus vicariously, without naming names, did give the back of his hand to the BS of Ryan and the NeverTrump faction.
I thought he was rather brave to split with that treacherous crew. I know it took him time. He did not know how things would fall out, but by golly, he took the leap in some of those quiet and rather clandestine meetings in DC, with the moaners and whiners.

Reince did good.
Whoever heads the RNC better make uncucking the Nevada GOP a priority.
Donald thanked Priebus over and over for the support, the ground game, and as a trusted advisor. It was very clear that the Trump trusted him more and more as the campaign progressed and Priebus worked hard and effectively to make it happen. He clearly helped Trump behind the scenes with the ground game and organization and several people who know acknowledged him for this (not just Trump).
Was not a fan of Priebus before because I detest the GOPe, but if he is good enough for Donald he is good enough for me (as if we have any choice). I will hold my criticism and give him a chance. He clearly impressed Donald and that is not easy to do by all accounts.
None of us should have any illusions about Reince. Trump invited him to the mic during the victory speech. It reminded me of old proverb.
“Keep your friends (Stephen Bannon) close, keep your enemies (Reince Priebus) closer”
