Front National leader Marine Le Pen has taken a sizeable lead over Nicolas Sarkozy in a new French presidential election poll.
The far-right leader had 29 per cent of the vote when pitted against Les Républicains former president, who was eight points behind, and held a 15-point lead over the Parti de Gauches Jean-Luc Mélenchon in the poll released by Ipsos.

Same Sarkozy when Bush was in office?
Sure she is an economic socialist, but she is also a nationalist, and Europe needs them to survive. If she loses, France is done. Simple as that.
Too early to call anything....

Polls are always wrong
She’s gonna wiiiiiin, oh, man! She’s gonna WIN!
Is her lead huge or yuge against Sarkrazy?
“They” will do their best to find a way to beat her ... just like in the USA (and Israel, btw)
Brexit, Trump, Frexit... all these are manifestations of resistance to Islam.
The Camp Of The Saints is on-going world wide. Looks like the French have had enough....TOO.
Problem is, even if she wins the first round with her 29%, there will be a second round between her and another candidate. If the voters of the other candidates gang up on her in the second round, she will still lose.
Agreed! Are there any Europeans with conservative economic perspectives outside of Switzerland?
I believe the Free Democrats in Germany favor a deregulated economic system.
Nate LeSilver gives her a .0002% chance of winning.
Hillary, oddly enough, has a 99% chance of winning!
Marine looks exactly like my oldest sister.
