Yes, all those racist White Hispanics......Florida is full of them. Not like all those authentic Hispanics who rioted at a Trump rally in Costa Mesa, CA.

Maybe Joan Baez can sing at Castro’s funeral, and then they can crown her as the Queen of Aztlan after Western California secedes from the US.

Haha-my cousin and I are white Hispanics/Latinas-her Cuban American husband happens to be a Black Hispanic-and he is from Florida-that is the kind of thing that makes liberal heads explode-and it is a good thing...

I grew up in Miami. My father started a successful small business making furniture. All his workers were Cuban. They worked hard and loved my Dad. I used to work for him in the summer, and I would eat Cuban food for lunch every day.......nothing better than a Cuban steak sandwich with fried potato sticks and fried onions. I live in Trump country now (Queens, NY), and there’s one authentic old Cuban restaurant in the Jackson Heights neighborhood, that’s been around since the 60’s. I’ll bet they were passing out free Cuban coffee there yesterday.

I love the Miami/Cuban accent......soooo sexy and intelligent.

I hear that accent a lot in the Telemundo novelas set in Miami and produced in their studio there-a lot of the actors are from Miami-sometimes I watch one a couple days a week in the evenings. Being of Mexican descent/Tejano we speak the Norteno Spanish dialect as a 2nd language, so the accent and a lot of the expressions and terms are totally different from what Cubans in Miami speak-they are a bit more soft spoken, and there is no drawl like here.

One of the Cubans who lives out here wants to see the CIA back and assist a coup-like the Bay of Pigs, only this time the US troops show up-he is totally serious about that.

I’ve never been to Texas, but I love Tex-Mex food and Texas music, especially blues......Freddy King, T Bone Walker, ZZ Top. I would love to visit one day.

If you like camping and other outdoor activities you should visit Big Bend or Guadalupe Mountains parks-you can also rent a semi-civilized cabin there-and there are literally miles of hiking trails. My 1st husband and I used to take our cub camping there all the time.

My ancestors first came to SW Texas and New Mexico in the late 1700’s, so I’m pretty attached to my state...

LOL, I’m not the outdoors-y type at all, other than lying on the beach or a tossing a frisbee in a park. I’d be more interested in where to get the best chili and BBQ!
