Jeff Bezos said a gathering of tech titans Wednesday with President-elect Donald J. Trump had been “very productive,” and that the Amazon.com CEO emphasized to the incoming administration that innovation was key in creating new jobs.
Bezos, Microsoft’s Satya Nadella, Apple’s Tim Cook and other high-flying tech executives attended a meeting at Trump Tower in New York with the president elect and his transition team.
It was an encounter with a man who, as a candidate, rubbed many in the technology industry the wrong way with restrictive views on immigration and other social issues.
Trump didn’t seem very happy with Big Tech either. He lambasted Apple for manufacturing iPhones abroad and singled out Bezos, who owns The Washington Post in addition to Amazon.

Where is Trump’s Nobel Peace Prize? He’s already done a crapload more to deserve it than Obama had when he received his.
We need to seriously reform education. Not just K-12 but also higher education. The federal govt spends billions of dollars on student loans for even the dumbest college courses

Jeff Bezos is worth, what, $75 Billion? And he paid only $250 Million for the WaPo. I think he’ll survive.
Say what you want about Bezos, but he has built a world class company. i really can’t imagine getting along without Amazon.

Or even to allow citizens an opportunity to reenter the world of work and confidently rebuild their careers. In turn, these individuals can provide value to an employer as well as skills and perspectives that otherwise go untapped with guest workers.
Alternative: Their credentials are only valid for briefings delivered by Milo Yiannopoulos or someone as equally talented in offending leftists. Increase or decrease pool subject to him as desired.
How many companies can exist for over 15 years before they actually turn a profit? There’s more to Amazon than meets the eye.
Yeah and we can also get by with kerosene lamps. but why would anyone want to? :)
