I’ll bet he’ll use Trump One more than he would the government one. Probably a better plane! LOL!
What was wrong with the current Air Force 1 anyway. All it was used for was jaunts to Hawaii and Africa. Nothing important.

Speaking of Boeing, Trump often brought up in the campaign, how China was forcing Boeing to build a plant in China and access to their intellectual property and know how, as a condition for buying from them. I wonder if Trump plans to try and reverse that.

President Donald Trump is a master at "The Art of the Deal" and everyone including his political, economic and business friends AND enemies know it.
President Trump... we're not at all tired of winning so you continue to follow your heart and God given vision and determination to "Make America Great Again" and don't you worry, the American people who love this country support what you have promised to accomplish 100% "have got your back!"

This looks suspiciously like Boeing was overcharging initially, then as soon as they realize someone is actually gonna take a close look at the numbers, the cost savings miraculously appear! All government contractors overcharge and funnel funds to those who sell access and 'opportunity" instead of maintaining the integrity of their office....

I have in the past done business with the feds. I sell an item for say $100 to the general public, I sell/sold the same item to the feds for $400. You might think I am gouging but the feds require the following:
Diverse workforce verification.
Minority owned business.
Special packaging.
Security clearances for every employee involved.
Production record retention for 25 years.
Certification on each product/item for where materials were sourced.
and so on. I quit bidding contracts due to this nonsense that added nothing to the value of the Product. Trump can and needs to fix that kind of silliness...oh and they cannot find anyone to make the same product so now the military has to do without.

Not sure but perhaps they were the sole bidder? I dont believe there is another American company that builds passenger jets of that sizeThe Boeing 747 is a unique plane. No other like it. It is the best plane suited for Air Force One. And these two builds about to be started are themselves unique from any other 747 because of all the stuff to make them safe for the president. So of course Boeing is sole bidder. Does not mean that the costs are non-negotiable.
We like your winning attitude, Mr President-Elect Trump! Been a long time since there has been any winning for we the people to cheer!

Ill bet hell use Trump One more than he would the government one. Probably a better plane! He will not be allowed to use Trump Force One after noon on Jan 20. Trump one does not have all the safety bells and whistles that AF One has.

That’s good to know! It will be a step down, but bet he’ll cope. :)

You need to e-mail him this. Maybe it's some information that he needs to know going forward, so maybe some of THOSE stupid regulations can be thrown out! Good grief...no wonder this country is practically bankrupt! 😡

Looks like it’s going to be tough going for the government contractors in the $500 hammers, $50 screws and $50,000 toilet businesses.

One can only hope! There has been way too much price gouging for way too long!
But if you want to put your money on a product, I predict we're gonna need a LOT more popcorn!! :)

Too risky, too much chance for sabotage. Trump should fly his corporate plane. Won’t need the room for the press corps anyhow.
To: Yollopoliuhqui
I’m sure he’ll do the right thing....I just love that he’s not letting all this waste slide by like others have.
Winning.
