BRUSSELS (AP) — The European Union has joined the outgoing U.S. administration in defending the two-state solution as the best way to achieve lasting peace between Israelis and Palestinians.
A spokeswoman for the 28-nation bloc reiterated the EU's support for the two-state solution on Thursday, the day after U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry tore into Israel for settlement-building.

BJ thought he has resolved the Israeli-Palestinian issue, until Arafat reneged.
Chances are, if Kerry gets the negoations that close before January 20, the Palis will reneg again.
A reasonable deal might might do that and at the same time require Israel to return the Golan to Syria and cease meddling in Syrian affairs.
That might have worked 75 years ago. But all the thousands of Moslem terrorist murders and bombings killed that idea. There are already two states in “Palestine” (sic) and any Moslems unhappy living in Israel can just move 20 miles to thei 3/4 of the area undervmodlem rule now called Jordan. End of issue. Oh yeah, all the foreigners trying to steal more land away from the Jews SO that the Moslems can murder them all the easier -—can GTH!! It ain’t gonna happen no more anyway
OK, the ‘Palestinians’ can have Germany, and the Jews will take Israel. That’s two states, right?

And we should listen to them because their own one-state solution for Europe is working out so well.
The Palestinians believe in a two-state solution also - North Palestine and South Palestine.
What the hey - with Brexit, the EU is a 2 State entity - surely they approve of that......

There is no such thing as a two state solution to the Israeli conflict.
There cannot be two governments over one country. It will never work.
No country in the world has ever existed with two seats of government. It simply does not work. It will work until there is one issue of contention, then it will fall apart.
