Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas says he is willing to work with President-elect Donald Trump to reach a two-state solution to the conflict with Israel.
Abbas spoke Saturday at an event marking the anniversary of his Fatah party.
He said "We want to emphasize our willingness to work with the newly-elected American administration... to achieve peace... based on a two-state solution."
Abbas thanked the U.S. for its U.N. abstention vote last week, which allowed the Security Council to adopt a resolution declaring Israeli settlements in territory claimed by Palestinians illegal.

You should have taken a good deal when you got it years ago, elected a peaceful government, lived as neighbors with Israel in peace, and made a ton of money living next to a friendly nation that would have been your best friends.
Trump goes over, and asks the Palestinian leader to accept in public at a press conference Israel’s right to exist as Israel has with them. They will refuse!
Then take a mile from the terrorist each time there is a terrorist attack. Then they learn to stop terrorizing or will have to learn to live in the sea.
Problem solved.
How about negotiating for one state ISRAEL, with her capitol JERUSALEM?

The Palestinians cannot live in peace, no matter what their leaders intend. Their educational system has raised up several generations of children who have hatred of Jews and Israel almost in their DNA. The only way to ameliorate that is to forcibly convert all of them to some form of liturgical celebration Christianity and then monitor all for church attendance and ceremonial participation. Then the schools must be controlled totally by the national government i.e. the Israelis for at least two generations.
If Trump or one of his people can actually broker peace between the Palestinians and Israel, somebody better put John Kerry on suicide watch, or keep all glass ketchup bottles out of his reach for a few days! Same story if Trump succeeds in canceling and/or replacing the Iranian Deal.
LOL....you know Kerry will get a noble for recognized palistain as a state in UN.
Forcibly move the 3 million+ Arab squatters to Syria, put them in refugee camps, and let the UN deal with resettling them.....after we withdraw our funding and membership. There's the solution.
