I would have expected something like this from McCain, but McCain has to all intents and purposes declared open war on Trump so his ability to pull this stunt is probably gone.

McCain and Lindsay Graham are going to be a thorn in Trump’s side and oppose the new president on many issues. If Marco joins with them, and the Democrats vote as a block, they can totally block Trump in the Senate. Marco is the man in the room yelling “I have a grenade”. The question is, will he pull the pin and destroy the chance for the GOP to enact a conservative agenda? McCain and Graham have already indicated they will join the other side.
