Larry Elder answers a question about an Iraqi top official supporting the idea that Iraq had WMDs and exported the majority of them to Syria. Here are the two sections in my main post dealing with General Sada:

✦ #2 Man -- http://religiopoliticaltalk.com/wmd/#sada1 ✦ #2 Man ~ a Second Time -- http://religiopoliticaltalk.com/wmd/#sada2

This will be added to the post on WMDs

A second Iraqi general, Ali Ibrahim al-Tikriti, in an interview I published, confirmed in detail the movement of WMD into Syria saying that discussion on such a move went back to the 1980s. He claims his sources for this include Iraqi scientists and others in the regime that were very close to him even after he defected.

He confirmed to me that Russian vehicles, including ones equipped to handle hazardous materials, were used. Reports of WMD being moved out of Iraq to Syria go back to 1997, and it is believed by many that weapons were moved in and out of Iraq using Syria routinely since the mid-1990s.

FLASHBACK: Saddam Hussein and the WMDs that our 'friends' (according to the FR Putinistas) in Russia reportedly snuck out of Iraq and into Syria just prior to the war.
___________________________________

"Romanian intelligence defector Ion Mihai Pacepa alleged that an operation for the removal of chemical weapons was prepared by the Soviet Union for Libya, and that he was told over thirty years ago by Romanian President Nicolae Ceausescu, KGB chairman Yury Andropov, and later, Yevgeny Primakov, about the existence of a similar plan for Iraq.

It is 'perfectly obvious', wrote Pacepa, that the Russian GRU agency helped Saddam Hussein to destroy, hide, or transfer his chemical weapons prior to the American invasion of Iraq in 2003. 'After all, Russia helped Saddam get his hands on them in the first place.'[13]

John Loftus, director of The Intelligence Summit, said in the November 16, 2007 issue of FrontPage Magazine that many documents from Iraq point to WMD being transferred to other countries such as Syria: 'As stated in more detail in my full report, the British, Ukrainian and American secret services all believed that the Russians had organized a last minute evacuation of CW [chemical] and BW [biological] stockpiles from Baghdad to Syria.'

His researchers allegedly found a document ordering the concealment of nuclear weapons equipment in storage facilities under the Euphrates River a few weeks before the invasion.[14]"

Russian build-up in Syria part of secret deal with Iran's Quds Force leader

September 11, 2015
Jennifer Griffin, Lucas Tomlinson
FoxNews.com

As the Pentagon warily eyes a Russian military build-up in Syria, Western intelligence sources tell Fox News that the escalated Russian presence began just days after a secret Moscow meeting in late July between Iran's Quds Force commander - their chief exporter of terror - and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Fox News has learned Quds head Qassem Soleimani and Putin discussed such a joint military plan for Syria at that meeting, an encounter first reported by Fox News in early August. ..."

The Quds Force is the international arm of Iran's Revolutionary Guard, involved in exporting terrorism to Iran’s proxies throughout the Middle East including Lebanon, Syria, Iraq and Yemen. ..."

Officials who have monitored the build-up say they've seen more than 1,000 Russian combatants - some of them from the same plainclothes Special Forces units who were sent to Crimea and Ukraine. Some of these Russian troops are logistical specialists and needed for security at the expanding Russian bases.

Pro-Hezbollah Paper: Russia, Iran, Syria, Hezbollah Form Alliance

Sept 23, 2015

A prominent pro-Hezbollah newspaper in Lebanon reported Tuesday that Russia and the terrorist organization have formed an alliance and will fight together in Syria. "The parties to the alliance are the states of Russia, Iran, Syria, and Iraq, with Lebanon's Hezbollah as the fifth party,"

Al-Akhbar Editor in Chief Ibrahim al-Amin wrote. The pact would be called the "4+1 alliance", a pun based on the P5+1 that negotiated the nuclear deal with Iran. Hezbollah is a proxy of Iran based in Lebanon and Moscow has been working with Tehran to save Bashar al-Assad's regime, even sending men and weapons to Syria.

WASHINGTON, June 29, 2006 – The 500 munitions discovered throughout Iraq since 2003 and discussed in a National Ground Intelligence Center report meet the criteria of weapons of mass destruction, the center's commander said here today.

"These are chemical weapons as defined under the Chemical Weapons Convention, and yes ... they do constitute weapons of mass destruction," Army Col. John Chu told the House Armed Services Committee.

Several months transpired between the time GWB got Congressional and UN permission to blow up Iraq and the actual invasion. Big surprise that Saddam moved or hid as much as he could during that period. Tell me again why we have all those militarized satellites and spies if we don’t know precisely what got trucked out of Iraq and into Syria and elsewhere (probably with Russia’s help).

Saddam and Assad and Gaddafhi and King Hussein and Mubarak held the lid on the Powder Kegs in Shariah world. Other than globalists such as the Clintons, Bushes, Obama, McCain, Graham, Rubio, not to mention $$$oros/Roth$$$child/$$$Rockefeller, who believes that anything positive has resulted from this perpetual CHAOS? I pray Trump can change course before it’s too late. RESIST!

The Left was wrong...again. Bush didn’t lie and people didn’t die because of him lying. At least there seems to be proof to the contrary.

So what if Iraq had chemical WMD’s? Saddam did not declare he was going to use them on US soil.

N. Korea ACTUALLY HAS NUKES, they are successfully testing missile delivery systems to reach US territory, and their leader has DECLARED HIS INTENTION TO USE THOSE against us.

So why no action against N. Korea?

Israel, India, Pakistan & China also have hundreds of WMD’s. But we do nothing.

Invading Iraq and dislodging Saddam has unleashed the largest cadre of jihadist radicals. ISIS would be impossible if Saddam and his followers were in power. Iraq war easily is the biggest blunder of US foreign policy. It cost Trillions of dollars in borrowed money from China and caused thousands of injured & dead soldiers, who are getting rotten healthcare.

Not: both Iraq and Syria were controlled by the Ba’ath Party. The Arab Socialist Ba’ath Party (also spelled Ba’ath or Baath, “resurrection” or “renaissance”; Arabic: حزب البعث العربي الاشتراكي‎‎ Hizb Al-Ba’ath Al-’Arabi Al-Ishtiraki), also referred to as the pro-Syrian Ba’ath movement, is a neo-Ba’athist political party, with branches across the Arab world. Both Syria and Iraq had Ba’ath dictators with strong military and economic ties to Russia. The Russians play the long game, and probably got Saddam and Assad to agree that Syria could hold the weapons for Saddam. After all the Russians were deeply involved in arming Iraq, Syria, and Libya. People tend to forget the massive Russian stores prepositioned armaments discovered by the Israelis in 1967, all placed for an invasion led by the old Soviet State. People also forget that the entire Palestinian (PLO) organization was established by the old KGB, along with a lot of other Muslim organizations that are socialist at their core. Abbas, the current terrorist-in-chief also was educated and groomed in Moscow under the Soviets.

“So why no action against N. Korea?”

One word: China.

The Red Chinese will protect their own. They did so during the Korean War, and would do so again. Socialist are socialist first and foremost. Our own home grown version prove the point explicitly. Watch what they do later this week in DC.

Iraqi top official supporting the idea that Iraq had WMDs and exported the majority of them to Syria.

True, only if 'exporting' means that the Russians came and took the stuff from Iraq to Syria to hide it because it had their NAME all over it.

Please stop trying to justify the invasion of Iraq. Trump is so right. It was a bonehead move, costing so many lives and more than a trillion dollars. And it destroyed the Bush administration, brought the Democrats into power - and gave us Obamacare because they had filibuster-proof majorities.

Let’s see. Saddam had WMDs - but instead of using them to defend his life and his regime, he sent them out of the country, and decided to be killed without defending himself.

No, doesn’t make sense. Cheney and Bush say there were no WMDs, and common sense says the same thing.

If you’re right (and Bush is wrong) that Iraq had WMDs but sent them out of the country, what danger to the US were WMDs to the US? Saddam didn’t even use them! Not even to defend his own life!

None of this makes sense, but that doesn’t matter to neocons who will never admit that the invasion of Iraq was a budget-busting fool’s errand.

more neocon propaganda.

we’re supposed to believe 1) there were WMDs; 2) they were a threat to us.

Yet, somehow Saddam didn’t use these supposed WMDs even to try to save his own skin when we invaded. If they existed - for which there is no evidence - they obviously were no threat, since Saddam didn’t use them even to save his own life.

It’s all part of the ongoing neocon fairy tale to justify an unjustified war.
