Some number of professional hits are done to exhibit an example for others. It doesn’t make them any less ‘professional’.
Based on this man’s first name, I assume he is a black man. So, if the murder rate of these pardoned criminals goes up for blacks in the next year, is that Trump’s fault too?

You don’t know the circumstances either. Only the Lord knew what was in his soul as he died.
I’m an artilleryman, preparing to kill was an integral part of my job. I would not be so cavalier about discussing the killing of another human being. I was prepared to do what was necessary, but I would never revel in it.
When I sat in targeting meetings in Afghanistan, we never talked about “terminating.” The missions were “kill or capture.” The men going on those missions were professionals, who confronted the reality of what they did without euphemisms.
If they needed cannon, rocket or missile fires, we fired a knowing that it was done to take a life or lives, understanding that it needed to be done, but regretting the necessity.
This man was never judged for a capital crime, no jury solemnly voted to take his life for his crimes. Two individuals killed him outside the law for their own reasons. An act that should be condemned.
FINALLY. Someone else who can see the forest through the trees.

Wonder if he rolled over on his co- defendants during the trial? That would be a cause for the hit.

I would go even further. I would require that the person not only be natural born, but that he must have lived virtually all his life in the US. Someone who is born here, then moves to a foreign country and is educated in foreign schools is not my idea of “American.”
