The cranes cost a huge amount of money per day. For this crane to have to sit idle is an outrage. These trespassers should be arrested and prosecuted as soon as they come down.

We need a new word for people who cause roadways to be shut down, either by standing in the streets or, like this, climbing a crane. They are not simply "exercising their first amendment rights" as the mayor in Baltimore kept saying as streets, even interstates, were shut down by protesters during and after the riots.

Raising awareness again? I suspect they will be fully aware if one falls and is killed. Bring the crane down slowly and arrest them. Then throw the book at them. But be sure to let them know you are going to lower the crane, so they don’t have grounds to sue.
