Aside from the quality issues with Chinese steel, having a healthy domestic steel industry is also important to national security. Might be kinda hard to fight a war if you have to depend on imports.

That was a key goal of the anti-Americans just now being booted from authority in government. No pensions for these workers of evil.

That last sentence concerns me, too. Fr’instance, I read that antibiotics are all manufactured abroad (think it was China) and it would/could take up to 6 months to “hatch” all the necessary components to set that up here in the U.S.
