Reports say seven Greenpeace protesters are facing misdemeanor charges after climbing a 270-foot tall construction crane just blocks from the White House at midweek and unfurling a huge banner with the word RESIST.
Wednesdays climb came a day after the Trump administration moved to delay implementation of several environmental rules.

One of the charges was second degree burglary. That really looks great on a background check.

They should have been charged with attempted murder. Had one of those idiot snowflakes fallen from that high, they could have seriously injured or killed somebody on the ground.

I’m waiting for the construction company to sue Greenpeace and these minions for damages and loss of use.

Sue them for every penny involved in removing from the crane, removing the banner, re-inspecting the crane before it could be safely operated again, etc.
The sum of that aught to put a significant dent in Greenpeace’s coffers.

I was thinking more in terms of a rap sheet or a police stop.

I hope they reimburse the construction company the $50,000/day rental on that crane and the local merchants the revenue lost while the streets were closed.
