I disagree with the following assessment:

And if Trump keeps signing executive orders the mainline press will hammer him, likely by pushing the narrative that he is a dictator of sorts. This is what they want, as they can use this to their advantage to further carry out the elite’s actual agenda..

No. They CANT carry out the elite’s agenda because the Presidency has become SO POWERFUL that Trump can write out Executive order after Executive Order, just like obama did.

And obama did a LOT of damage with them.

I’m not a fan of executive orders. There may be a dem in the WH again some day.

But for now, to save the republic, Trump can use his pen and phone day and night.

Here’s the thing. Obama signed a LOT of Executive Orders.

For every one of Obama’s EOs, Trump will need to issue an
Executive Orders in order to countermand it.

Ergo, Trump will be issuing a LOT of Executive Orders just
to get back to “normal”!

What we are seeing is the slow but steady evolution of the presidency into a dictatorship IMHO.

Trump can go for the de facto repeal. Trump should say and tweet repetitively that 0-care is done. He should say that no one will be forced to buy insurance because the GOP has already promised to repeal 0-care. He can then quote the weasel GOP politician election promises. Then Trump will say that he won’t have the IRS enforcing the penalty on anyone thus year or for last year because it’s over.

Trump should also give waivers to any state that wants to come up with plans that offer more consumer choice. Coverage mandates will be gone and prices will go way down. States can also restart high risk pools as before.

The only people that will want to buy the 0-care at the marketplaces will be the people with very high yearly medical expenses. Trump can say, it’s a bad deal for those that are young and healthy. The implosion will take less than two months because all the insurance companies will pull out of 0-care.

Trump will have forced congress hand and repeal will be a fait accompli. The weasels have already said they would repeal 0-care, and if it’s almost dead, they can’t defend it. Do you think a weasel GOP senator or rep would actually attack Trump for stopping the IRS from collecting the penalty? Even if the media defends the IRS they will look ridiculous to the young and healthy millennials that don’t want to waste thousands of dollars.
