Tancredo: Over 300 Sanctuary Cities Are Costing State and Local Taxpayers over $7,000,000,000 Annually

President Trump this week signed an executive order declaring war on so-called sanctuary cities. Agencies within the United States Government will begin withholding federal grant funds from those cities, and additional actions to enforce federal immigration law will be taken soon.

Unlike Obama, President Trump is not trying to making new laws by executive decree. In his Executive Order, the president is only reminding mayors and governors of existing federal law dating to 1996:

U.S. Code › Title 8 › Chapter 12 › Subchapter II › Part IX › § 1373 8 U.S. Code § 1373 – Communication between government agencies and the Immigration and Naturalization Service:

Notwithstanding any other provision of Federal, State, or local law, a Federal, State, or local government entity or official may not prohibit, or in any way restrict, any government entity or official from sending to, or receiving from, the Immigration and Naturalization Service information regarding the citizenship or immigration status, lawful or unlawful, of any individual. (b) Additional authority of government entities Notwithstanding any other provision of Federal, State, or local law, no person or agency may prohibit, or in any way restrict, a Federal, State, or local government entity from doing any of the following with respect to information regarding the immigration status, lawful or unlawful, of any individual: (1) Sending such information to, or requesting or receiving such information from, the Immigration and Naturalization Service. (2) Maintaining such information. (3) Exchanging such information with any other Federal, State, or local government entity.

Tancredo should have been the Republican candidate in 2008.

The money that is no longer going to these terrorist sympatric Rat strongholds had better never be made up later - the money lost better be gone forever - no monetary “catch up” later if they finally start following the law. Take the savings directly to the bottom line.

Your neighbor is pumping surface water from his property onto yours in violation of the `common enemy’ doctrine.

Your finished basement is flooding, causing expensive damage.

Your neighbor and his friends says you are foolish for building dikes and swales to repel the water.

They say it is even more foolish to attempt to recover your costs from your neighbor.

We say to them, “You’re loco in la cabeza.”

In a nutshell—discounting the cartels narcotics and human trafficking—this is the problem we have with Mexico.

So what if it is 7 billion dollars? The price of avocados could rise.

He laid the groundwork of investigation and getting the initial wall plan passed, suffered the slings and arrows from the RINO’s while thoroughly demonized by the Rats. He had to watch the plan dribble away through bad contracts and de-funding. They simply wore Tom out and he stepped away. Tom Tancredo is a patriot and hero.

Congressman Michael Coffman, whose district office is located in Aurora, Colorado, made an announcement after the mayor of Aurora similarly disclaimed the label “Sanctuary City” while affirming, sanctuary policies, Representative Coffman said he will propose a bill in Congress defining a sanctuary city as ONLY cities which call themselves sanctuary cities.

Coffman is an idiot. Is he still an "R"? I wonder what Peter Boyles has been saying? I'm sure he's had Tancredo on his program recently. I should start trying to listen in in the a.m.

On that Avocado thread I did the following research:

http://www.fairus.org/publications/the-fiscal-burden-of-illegal-immigration-on-united-states-taxpayers

Illegal immigration is estimated to cost the U.S. $113 Billion a year. Most of that, $84 billion is paid at the state and local levels.

California pays out almost $22 Billion to illegals each year! Their state budget deficit is $14 billion.

That’s a lot of guacamole!

********************************

A quick calculation - that $113 Billion comes to $485. per adult in the U.S.

I’m guessing the $113 Billion doesn’t count the cost for illegals driving drunk, robberies, rapes and murders.

Okay - average monthly food bill for a family of four is $786. Lets say that we have to pay 10 percent more - that’s $80/month x 12 months = $960 per year. But - say that “family of four” includes two adults - so that is $485 x 2 = $970.

So the increased food price is a wash (if the Feds would lower our taxes!).

So we would get the reduction in crime for free!
