I thought Sowell was retiring; it is good to see his work is still being published. America will lose a great philosopher and writer when he is gone.

I am a great fan of Dr. Sowell’s, and recall reading the bulk of this, a while back. He is a great proponent of education, and the opportunity it offers the poor, for advancement, since that is his story. I am guessing he took an archived piece, and added the ending supporting DeVos, in order to throw his support in her direction.

I would be pleased as punch if he were to return to the forum, but truth is, most of his writing is timeless, and can be rerun, AND topical. Thank you.
