The former Governor of California said he made the remarks after Trump slammed the opening night ratings of the NBC show he left before taking office.
'I said, "Let's sit on it for an hour," ' Schwarzenegger told the magazine. 'I called my assistant and said, "I think what we really should do is request a meeting and go back to New York.... And then we just smash his face into the table."'

I think the two of them are just having fun. You should have heard the completely-devoid-of-sense-of-humor ABC Radio reporter intoning dramatically about this little dust-up the other day. Ridiculous.

Time has come to deal with these threats in a definitive manner. Arrest, cuff, incarcerate, trial and punishment. Otherwise it will continue and ultimately when an attempt or actual harm occurs, the public will be desensitized to accept it.
Tough talking Arnold would be laying in a puddle of his own blood dying seconds after he tried something like that as would anyone else.

They still do like each other. Donald needs to play around with longtime pals (or convenient villains like Alec Baldwin) who can take a joke and pushback every so often too.
Think of it as the loud blather that Muhammad Ali used to banter and boast just before going into the ring with an opponent. “Fake feuds to blow off steam with an equal or an acquaintence, and entertain whoever is watching.
I’ve seen other men joke and joust with each other this way.
You have to know how far you can take it, and then no further. Best to stay away from ‘Yo Mama’ jokes.
SCHWARZENEGGER is trying to stir up a DONALD TRUMP - ROSIE O’DONNELL spat to demean PRESIDENT TRUMP’S Presidency and give a boost to his APPRENTICE ratings. I hope PRESIDENT TRUMP doesn’t fall for it.

Arnold’s campaign rep was Steve Schmidt, Palin’s supposed campaign manager during the 2008 run who sabotaged her.
This is not yukking up. Trump should send in the Secret Service. Arnold is testing his resolve.
