On CNN this morning, David Gregory, speaking of President Trumps tweetingand specifically, those from this weekend criticizing the judge who blocked his executive order on immigrationsaid: he sounds like an old man sitting on his porch yelling at somebody to get off his lawn.
Added Gregory: youve had in the first 18 days, successive weekends where he has completely derailed what his administration is trying to do with a kind of personal indulgence by attacking people personally, launching an attack on the separation of powers. But what it really comes down to is this obsession with himself, and I think thats going to start to wear thin.

Ping to Liberal Media Criticism list.
He was great in the Planet of the Apes series.....
David Gregory is like “the homeless vagrant who sleeps in doorways and shouts disjointed nonsense while menacing passersby.”
Get used to it, Butt Boy.
Re: ‘Like an old man yelling “Get off my lawn!”’
Didn’t Clint Eastwood get an Oscar for playing that part?
Once again David Gregory is clueless.
Like any other progressive fool, anything that puts even a mild speed bump in the steady march toward the dystopian progressive ‘right side of history’ turns Gregory into a whimpering child, who substitutes tantrums and emotion for critical thinking and reasoning.
CNN seems to have replaced MSNBC as media critics' favorite scratching post.
Nothing they say or air should come as a surprise, no matter how banal, insane or derivative.
Instead of trying to rehabilitate their ignorant hosts and audience, we should all work, especially in the Trump era, to get back to unbundling cable and satellite channels. When a la carte subscriptions are in place, the uptake for CNN and MSNBC will shrink substantially and advertisers will flee.
They will die on Capitalism Hill - the one they claim to hate but the one that pays their wages.
Worst of all, you are laughed at when you complain to the authorities.
Trump’s speaking for more than half of the country.
And what’s wrong with telling interlopers to get off your lawn? Private property and all that - oh, that’s right, socialists view what’s yours is theirs.
Best movie——ever !
.
Trump is saying “get off my lawn”. And it’s directed at Gregory and his brand of opinion journalism. He needs to stay off the White House lawn!
Drunk again?
Isn’t the question “What are you doing on his lawn in the first place?”
Some people no right to be on our lawn
