Former director of national intelligence James Clapper spoke out on President Trump's travel ban on Friday, saying he fears the order could create a "recruiting tool" for extremists. In his first interview since leaving office, The Obama-era official told CNN's Jim Sciutto he is unaware of any intelligence that would prove the need for Trump's executive order banning travel for nationals from seven Muslim-majority countries.

To them the fact that I have a Miller Lite when I get home from work at night is a “recruiting tool”. The fact that you can see womens’ knees at the mall is a “recruiting tool”.

Every policy they disagree with falls into a single category : “Recruiting tool”. Sorry, they need to be more thoughtful and creative.
You know what was a huge Muslim extremist recruiting tool, James? The Obama foreign policy of the past 8 years. We went from it being relatively contained under Bush to ISIS controlling huge parts of the Middle East at the end of Obama. And you presided over it. You have no credibility to talk about how to eliminate extremist recruiting tools.
He’s confident in existing “vetting” procedures which consist in asking ppl to recite their prepared fake scripts and checking their (possibly fake) names against totally inadequate databases.
If people who embrace islam are easily triggered to radicalization, then only an idiot couldn’t see that islam itself is dangerous.
The lying left calling it a “Muslim ban” and things like that is what they might use as a recruiting tool... not the sensible retooling of our vetting process.
