A very powerful and moving tribute.
Colmbes died far too young and I feel sadness for his wife, family and friends. That being honestly said, I hated the guy’s politics and detested watching him with Hannity a few years back. I think Hannity hated debating with him too. He was a typical left wing hack who had no sense of reason. I guess we need people like Alan to keep a balance in this country, but I won’t miss seeing him. Prayers for his family.
I had no idea he was as old as he was. I don’t have cable but listen to Fox Radio on my iPhone, and it seems like his show was played a bit more than the others.
Steyn evidently experienced an adversarial parting of ways with Levin & CRTV today. All his content/shows on the channel/platform have vanquished.
I loathed Alan Colmes’ politics but I have to take the word of those whose opinions I respect, and with whom I’m in concert politically, that he had redeeming qualities. R.I.P.
Colmes was pro-abortion, and therefore hostile to civilization. He never gave the slightest evidence of intellectual honesty.
I would never attack a dead man, but the fulsome (i.e., nauseating) tributes are just too much.
Let’s not speak ill of the dead. Stalin and Hitler had an occasional bad hair day. Colmes would have been perfectly happy with Stalin. He thought Van Jones was a moderate. Brainless. He could also be heartless. His comments about a father bringing home his dead infant so his other childred could play with it was heartless and cruel. I am sure the woman was horrified.
