Former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino believes the Trump Tower wiretapping scandal, known as Obamagate by many on social media, is going to “blow wide open this week.”
The best-selling author, added that he plans on sharing information on the Obama administration this week with the public.
Bongino worked for the administrations of former Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama in the Presidential Protection Division.
He was a frequent presence on cable news shows throughout the 2016 presidential election season and had an explosive confrontation with CNN’s Don Lemon in defense of Trump.
It was so fiery that President Trump congratulated him for it.
In a Facebook Live video after the tweets, Bongino said the media wants to push the story that Trump might have pressured the FBI to tell him about the wiretap or that the president is lying.
But he explained that Trump’s Secret Service protection probably did electronic countermeasure sweeps to check for listening devices and found the bugs.
The media is too busy looking to find a way to make the story about President Trump doing something incorrect to realize that this is the most likely scenario, according to Bongino.
And he believes America is going to find out this week.
Showing a handful of bugs would be priceless. Getting Secret Service to confirm good, or that they knew and didn’t tell Trump.
Doesn’t Rudy run Giuliani Partners, a corporate cyber security firm ?
Perhaps they helped uncover the surveillance.
I hope this is true—Otherwise the MSM will cut Trump to pieces! He will be chum for media shark food. I think this fits Obama’s character and arrogance.

Trump said ‘wire-tapped’, ... NOT bugged.

As usual, President Trump is two or three steps ahead of the Democraps and their media rats on all of this. He is playing this like a symphony on a fine violin.
either Trump has the bugs in his possession or the NSA did much worse than what the FISA Warrant had authorized.
Especially when it's used with the terms "Next week" or "soon".
But here's hoping Bongino is right and Obama ends in disgrace.

and he said “just found out” — surely Secret Service sweeps for bugs in Trump Tower offices would have taken place a long time ago.... they may well conduct them periodically (one hopes) but very recent finds would not evidently tie back to the Obama WH.
Anyway, as you point out, planted “bugs” are not “wire taps” in the usual understanding of things, and Trump said his “wires” were “tapped”....

0dunga's Secret Service team could have planted bugs, wire-tap equipment on phones, and God only knows what else is available these days..
It's not FINDING BUGS that matters. It's WHO'S DOING THE SWEEPING FOR BUGS that matters. If a traitorous team of sweepers shows up and they intentionally IGNORE certain bugs, then.. THEN WHAT?
