Wikileaks: CIA 'Stole' Russian Malware, Uses It to ‘Misdirect Attribution’ of Cyber Attacks

"Russian" hacking?........ It could have just as easily been the CIA

The CIA's Remote Devices Branch's UMBRAGE group collects and maintains a substantial library of attack techniques 'stolen' from malware produced in other states including the Russian Federation.

With UMBRAGE and related projects the CIA cannot only increase its total number of attack types but also misdirect attribution by leaving behind the "fingerprints" of the groups that the attack techniques were stolen from.

How many members of the MSM who were all so ready to peddle to 'Trump colluded with the Russians' false narrative are actually also agents work for the deep state to undermine the President?

Hence, all the “Russian” hacking. Why doesn’t Trump fire Comey? Can he?

Gee, the CIA is now confirmed as smarter and more effective than many thought!

Stole from the Russians? Good work, guys.

This is an amazing story, no doubt, but I’ve never heard of this source.

Pffft. Pay me $1M in unmarked bills, and I’ll “brave” the dark web to find you some Russia malware. It’s honestly not hard to find. The public only uses about 5% of the entirety of the Internet.

Would the previous administration have deliberately had the CIA finger the Russians so that they could claim “foreign interference” and “national security” while requesting FISA requests in order to be able to spy on anyone who opposed them?

It just keeps getting worse and worse, but the MSM continues to keep the lid on it....

This means they have the capability to framed trump with fake evidence, which in turn gave them an excuse to take to a judge to allow surveillance .

Even the CIA doesn’t trust the CIA.

CIA doesn’t work for the USA. It works for itself and Soros/Rockefeller/Rothschilds, etc.

So Obama got a twofer: hack Hillary’s server and get the whole Russians-hacking-the-election meme going for justification of surveillance on Trump, AND get all the dirt on Hillary to blackmail me her as POTUS, essentially giving Obama a third term.

As just another observer who does not and can not know what is real and what is synthetic...

When the so-called pieces of Russian interference with the elections or whatever the hell they were....showed cyrillic letters.....and the flaming idiots Maxine Waters and John McCain (only two shining examples of probably 200 members of Congress of only slightly higher IQ) became thereby utterly convinced;

That to me was the most obvious clue that the whole thing was completely and totally bogus. And I said so at the time.

There is no way whatsoever that a hacker skilled enough to penetrate all the stuff these guys allegedly penetrated would have left such fingerprints behind. And the idea that it was supposedly the Russian *government* who did the hacking was quintuply absurd.

Yes, it's called a false flag operation and they've been around since the dawn of time.

It seems that there is an additional little country embedded somehow inside of the USA.

Beleive it, I’m reading the same thing from the source documents I downloaded from Wikileaks torrent last night, 500 mB worth.

Whatever people think of Snowden, what he shared publicly was a thimble-full, this is an flood.

This source doesn’t matter. Says the same thing directly on WikiLeaks.

Of course they would. Remember Tawana Brawley and, later on, Rathergate.

Wikileaks: CIA 'Stole' Russian Malware, Uses It to ‘Misdirect Attribution’ of Cyber Attacks

So how many of those cyber attacks blamed on 'russian hackers' were actually russians, and how many were the CIA?

BTW, A first class hacker strikes and leaves no clue or trail as to his intrusion. That is why a lot of people were skeptical when they kept blaming "russian hackers".
