U.S. companies added a whopping 298,000 new jobs in February, beating economists' expectations by more than 100,000. The report from ADP, a global human resources and payroll firm, provides the first hard economic numbers from Donald Trump's first full month as president. Trump tweeted a self-congratulatory note, calling the number 'much more than expected!'

It’s amazing what telegraphing a friendly policy environment to business telegraphs to owners and corporations.
The OboingoNE is schooled once again.
Anyway you look at it, that is a significant increase.
Yes but it is because he inherited a growing economy from his predecessor who worked tirelessly for eight years cleaning up after Bush. Or something like that.
I think 250-300,000 was the number people used to throw around about the number we need to break even, but that was back in the Bush days, I don’t think we ever got there in osamas time, although this says this is biggest number since 2015.
Yeah, because the raciss white business owners waited until the Black man was out of office before they started passing out the jobs again.
Decrease the number of welfare recipients now.
Make them work like the rest of us.
No more generations of related individuals on public assistance.
Limit the number of children per family unit.
Pay for no more than 1.
Otherwise, make them pay for their breeding themselves.
So “Unexpected” has officially reversed context again
Here, here...... It’s about Frigging time someone with an IQ higher than their age takes over the office of Presidency.
GO TRUMP GO!!! All The Way TO VICTORY!
I’m sure it has nothing to do with Trump, with increased optimism, promise of the repeal of Obamacare’s burdens on employers, lower taxes, etc. Obama’s wonderful economic policies are finally working! (/s)
The funniest comment in tomorrow’s newspapers will be the quote by Pelosi and Schumer about the job numbers.
Got 5 bucks that says both of these clowns will either call it a downturn in the economy because of Trump or will say it was because of Obama’s growing economy.
Look I have been a Trump supporter since the very beginning.
I am VERY enthused by him.
But this is not a real good number. Break even, I think. We need to start expanding bigtime.
Over 500,000 new jobs a month. Maybe a million.
He’s just starting, but not a real big number yet.
I personally think they should be required to clean the sides of roads and highways. They are the ones that have the time to do it and most likely a large part if the ones who throw trash out the window. If they don’t have enough ambition to get a job they don’t have enough ambition to clean out their cars.
I thought break even was around 170000 jobs per month
It is an excellent start. You can't expect the economy to turn on a dime just because a business-friendly president was elected. I expect the numbers will continue to improve.
Are we rid of the 30 hr work week from 0dont care?

Oh, come on, be fair, Obama was 47 when elected and his IQ was probably 49 or so. It really isn’t right to claim that his IQ was lower than his age. Of course now that he is eight years older it’s different.
