So what are they going to do? Go on down to the south side, and west side, and get the youth gangs to give up their guns, give up on their feral violent deadly lifestyles and criminal behavior????

Sorry Chicago, your “public health crisis” isn’t “gun violence”, it’s the hate-filled, evil people created by the liberal “democrats”. Stop focusing on trampling the Second Amendment and try focusing on the killers, IDIOTS!

"The root cause of violence is violence".

How many liberal brains did it take to reach that conclusion? But that being made, they will now jump to the next conclusion that guns are to blame, and without them, people would be peaceful as doves.

---sounds like a takeoff of the FDR statement that "the only thing we have to 'feah' is 'feah' itself"--which I have always thought of as a completely stupid statement---

Treat gun violence as what it is, a problem created on purpose by your government in order to give them an excuse to disarm you.

You get inoculated against gun violence by an exposure to guns.

Get one, shoot it, CCW.

You are immune.

“Treat Gun Violence Like A Public Health Crisis”

Great! Sick people go to jail and stay there, just like criminals do. Right?

NPR, National Public Radio lobbying for Gun Control and using our tax dollars to do it.

Cut off their funding

“The root cause of cholera is cholera,” he says. “The root cause of violence is violence.”

Yes, and the root cause of being a flaming douchebag is in fact, being a flaming douchebag.

I can’t recall when I’ve heard a more useful and insightful statement. It just takes the sentient mind a moment to absorb the fullness of it. No wonder we have been so horribly ineffective at treating cholera and so successful at treating societal violence. Why, they are almost exactly the same thing.

Ain’t being a liberal grand?

The answer is simple, just bring back the prison farms.

1st offense, 2 years. 2nd, 5 years. 3rd, lifetime change of address.

No early release, no parole, no time off for good behavior. You don’t work, you don’t eat.

Learn what the saying “a long row to hoe” really means.

These kids are raised in chaotic and violence homes, neighborhoods and schools. What’s the surprise that they are killing one another? Welfare and single parenthood make this all possible.

"The root cause of cholera is cholera," he says. "The root cause of violence is violence."

Incorrect. The root cause of violence is greed, jealousy, lust, and anger.

“The root cause of cholera is cholera,” he says. “The root cause of violence is violence.”

And how do we deal with cholera?
KILL IT.

The only way violence can be lessened is to stop the opiate epidemic.

Most of the shootings and fatalities in our area are drug related, either meth or heroin or a combination of both.

Cui bono?

No. Gun violence is a judicial crisis and will only get worse until we get rid of liberal judges. It’s not the guns. It’s the feral animals who know there’s no real repercussion to their lawlessness.

Pretending the problem is “gun violence” misses the point. The problem is violence; guns are simply one of the tools used. Democrats hate freedom so much that they are willing to see more of their voters die, if that helps them demonize and eventually ban the firearms that protect our liberty.

They tried a big doctor push in the ‘90s but most doctors backed out as gun groups kept pointing out that medical accidents by doctors kill far more than gun accidents. They probably forgot by now.

The root cause of blizzards are blizzards.

The root cause of thirst is thirst.

The root cause of drowning is drowning.

The root cause of cancer is cancer.

The root cause of falling asleep at the wheel, careening across the median, and taking out a schoolbus full of Campfire Girls is falling asleep at the wheel, careening across the median, and taking out a schoolbus full of Campfire Girls.

I had no idea that these problems could be figured out so easily!!!!!
