I'll never understand the Churchian obsession with trying to save savages all across the world.

These naive "Christians" go to the filthy toilet of Africa with their do-gooderism and are surprised that the locals kidnap them.

Hey Franklin Graham: there are plenty of needy Americans that could use some help. Stop cucking yourself for illiterate savages!

That’s their mission, to spread the gospel and save souls. Samaritan’s Purse is one of the great, honest charities that actually put your donation to good use rather than blowing the vast majority of it on salaries and administrative overhead. They deserve your prayers and support, not condemnation.

There are tons of food pantries and places where Christians feed people here. To compare the needy of America to other countries is staggering. Mission trip after mission trip I see true poverty. Here i see kids clothed in Underarmor (I can’t afford that).. and mom with an ebt. If you want help, walk into a church, almost any time of day.. I have an ex employee with a Mercedes and two other cars, well her kids get free healthcare. Between housing subsidies, free healthcare, obamaphones, clothing subsidies, tax credits, the “Poor Americans” get over 40,000. That is not poor in other parts of the world. I do think the elderly truly struggle, but we can’t really help them because of the healthy welfare class, that simply get paid not to work.

Ah, some good FR curmudgeonism on display. Congratulations for producing such a fine example.

You are, indeed, not understanding. But never say never.

P.S. I doubt anyone actually involved is, or was, surprised at all.

P.P.S. Normally posts like yours don't warrant a response, but you seemed intent on provoking one by calling Franklin Graham a cuck. It's likely the term describes you more than it does him.

Samaritan's Purse is a legal, privately funded organization run by donated money. The people who give have no illusions where the money is going. This is not a government program, which would have little business doing what Samaritan's Purse is doing. You are equating the two.

If their goal is to "save" savages by whatever means they deem appropriate and is honest, it is a worthy and voluntary project. You are not required to pay for it nor do you have the right to tell them where and how to expend their efforts and money.

The Samaritan’s Purse are also of the first boots on the ground within the United States whenever we have hurricanes or disasters that misplace people. They go to grieving neighborhoods here. They go behind enemy combat lines there.
They bring Love and Practical Help.

Christ commands it. For some it’s their calling.

Matthew 17-20
The Great Commission

16 Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. 17 And when they saw him they worshiped him, but some doubted. 18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
