I know the place too. I used to live in Tiburon - live nearby now - but am in Tiburon weekly. Here in Marin, only 15% voted for Trump and probably even fewer than that did in Tiburon. If you say anything at all around here remotely conservative - or heavens, even mention Fox News - you’re met with eye rolls. I used to know several on the Tiburon police force, but they’ve all retired or moved elsewhere (to more affordable places to live), so I don’t know any of the new guys. If what took place is at all as the story describes, I hope there’s an arrest forthcoming.
