Asked about why it was covered and was told it was company policy. First time I have seen this. This issue has Trump layout.
So did you leave your loaded up cart at the checkout and tell them you’ll be shopping elsewhere from now on?
I uncover them every time I am in the check out line...
You must be in a very liberal area. I know some of the Publix Exec’s and Corporate folks, very conservative group of individuals and they run their company that way.
I’ll check this out here tomorrow. If so goodbye public hello Harris teeter.
FWIW, I asked and was told that they cover it over if someone complains. I’ve seen different ones covered and not all of them had President Trump on them.
Never heard of them. Is this some self important regional chain?
Same here. I’m a blue city and these lib assholes cover any Trump checkout mag. Sometimes my GF pretends to read the Cosmo mag, then places it in front of the obamatard covers afterwards.
If that’s their rule, make them live by it, just like Saul Alinsky said.
Complain about all the covers of all the rags and insist they be covered.
I have been in many a Publix, in Sarasota, Bradenton, and Longboat Key, Florida and NEVER has the cover of the NE ever been covered up, in the decade and 1/2 I've been shopping in them!
“You must be in a very liberal area.”
Tennessee on the edge of the Eagle’s Nest.
The National Enquirer is really going after HRC and Obama, so we can’t have innocent bystanders finally getting informed in the grocery line. Just remove those covers and read on!
Maybe a customer covered it...
My local Publix here in Jacksonville has been covering them up for a while now.
Cut them a break. This is more “protect the kiddies” than politics.
Eagle’s nest - would that be Pigeon Forge? Certainly not a liberal area. I was at Publix in Hixson TN yesterday, but I didn’t really look at the mags in the checkout area. I was first in line.
Me either, must be back east somewhere.
I've never been in one in Jacksonville; though I have been to Jacksonville.
Where are these stores found?
