With all due respect, bigdaddy45, I think it’s different. People buy a car and it is out of the hands of the auto dealer. They have (or had at the time) no way of knowing what the car was being used for.

FB is different. People keep tabs on what is posted there. People have been fired for saying stupid things on that public forum.

I understand your point, but is not a physical product, it is digital, ethereal, something you can’t touch. It’s information, not something you can buy.

I agree you with you up to this sentence...Data/Information is something that is bought and sold each day in this world, lots of it and it has a direct effect on every person that is on the internet.
