Drudge visits Savage: 'We're trying to save this very young Trump administration'

Matt Drudge, the editor of the highly influential Drudge Report, visited Michael Savage’s San Francisco-based national radio show in-studio Friday to celebrate the talk host’s 75th birthday.

After sharing Chinese food with Savage, Drudge got behind “The Savage Nation” mic and took a couple of calls, declaring, “We’re trying to save this young Trump administration.”

“I do think there is a crisis, on many fronts,” Drudge said. “Is some of it of his own making?”

Drudge said he suspects Congress is deliberately sabotaging Trump.

Noting Obama had a stimulus bill on his desk on Day One, he asked: “What did this Congress give this great man? Nothing.”

Of course they are doing everything plausible to screw Trump.

Ryan and McConnell are responsible for everything.

Did they eat on air? Savage is a slob who is always eating on air and suppressing, unsuccessfully, his belches.

B/S.. This is DC & the media trying whatever they can to keep the status quo. Draining the swamp is the only fix.

He needs to get moving, behind the scenes, on the infrastructure bill and tax reform; as a start, fire Koskinen at IRS. The Dems have been nothing but obstructionist, they think their endless footdragging and name-calling is working and they have no incentive to provide any positive assistance in running this country. He has to kickstart the Rep congressional “leadership” what there is of it, and tell Graham on the side that he may get a challenger in the primary in SC (which Trump won by 16 points) in the next Senate race.

Well eating your own and heading left isn’t gonna cut it. Nor is giving better health treatment to illegals than Veterans.
Trump is a lib, he just can’t sell what he doesn’t buy into himself. I think he would be able to pass universal healthcare because billionaires everywhere believe it’s their responsibility. And he really has said, repeatedly, government has a place in healthcare. He isn’t a free market guy.. he is a hire a lawyer and bully your way to the top even if it requires dishonesty. Pity the fools you have to bury to get to the top, but hey, they are poor and insignificant.
No principles, except maybe will to power or narcissism?
Up next amnesty and stimulus.. which will be super easy if you get rid of the Constitutionalists. And *thats* the only rational reason to get rid of them. Label them never thumpers when what they really are is Never Stiumulus, Never Amnesty, Never picking winners and losers.. same reasons they didn’t like obama.
Funny how every one of the Ever Trumpers suddenly love amnesty, govt healthcare and picking winners and losers.. same things they hated obama for, they love trump for.. cognitive dissonance. And they were willing to go with rinocare. No principles, just party.

Can’t drain the swamp if the bottom-feeders are clogging the drain.

Nominations kept up to date at Washington Post

Now suppose Barry got this level of attacks from the republicans, the media and his own party. He would have pooped in his pampers. Trump is holding his own and can hopefully bring over the cry baby disrupters to his side with the support of his loyal voting block.

Great observations.

It’s worth noting that the people pushing Ryan’s bill are the same people who pushed amnesty*. Labeling opponents to Ryan’s bill “enemies” and “never Trumpers” is an attempt to marginalize opposition to amnesty.

* American Action Network. This group ran ads pushing Ryan’s bill.

more info at their site

2013-06-27 - “American Action Network Chairman Sen. Norm Coleman and Hispanic Leadership Network Co-Chairman Gov. Jeb Bush issued the following statement following the passage of S.744, the Border Security, Economic Opportunity, and Immigration Modernization Act of 2013. AAN & their initiative HLN have been active leaders in the immigration policy debate, including significant national television advertising, grassroots organizing, policy backgrounders, messaging guidance and more.

“Today’s vote is a strong step for meaningful immigration reform and encouraging legal immigration for those that want to contribute to a better America. This legislation secures our borders and allows the eleven million undocumented immigrants currently in our country the opportunity to earn a legal status.”

American Action Network created the American Action Forum (Jeb Bush, member) and the Hispanic Leadership Network (Jeb Bush, chair). These groups share office space with Karl Rove’s Crossroads GPS/American Crossroads.

You have summed it up well. I’ll add that being critical isn’t being never anything. In fact it strengthens. A big problem is the man has not self doubt. Those without self doubt are typically doomed and failed leaders

The swamp draining is really up to us, the voters.
WE have to remove the weasels from Congress, Trump can’t do it.

Thanks for the posting the link.

It’s inexcusable that a Republican administration has so few confirmations when the Senate is also controlled by Republicans. The Republican leadership in Congress is pathetic.

Can’t argue with a single thing. I think Trump is half a step to the right of Hillary at best. This is going to turn ugly when people realize we aren’t getting a wall and he starts pushing amnesty.

The swamp draining is really up to us, the voters.
That's why we voted for Trump.

Swamp draining refers to blotted bureaucracies, deep state and unelected bureaucrats running (actually ruining) our lives . Not necessarily Congress, even though the bureaucracies are created by Congress and Presidents.

Ryan and the RINOs are the swamp creatures most in need of removal.

Trump has the option RIGHT NOW to declare a State of Emergency, suspend Habeus Corpus, and round up all of his political enemies in Congress, the press the CIA, FBI, etc.

He can say its based on possible Russian interference in the election and leaks of classified information that threaten national security, or just make up some other horsecrap.

Bottom line is that the American communists and the WASHINGTONIANS cannot be defeated legislatively or via a PR campaign.

He had better grow a pair and get busy.

Time to wipe the smile of the domestic enemies faces.
