The diplomat who is in line to be America's next NATO ambassador said Monday that former National Security Advisor Susan Rice has been suspected 'for weeks' of involvement in an effort to publicly unmask Donald Trump associates whose names appeared in foreign intelligence reports.
And he claimed ten days ago that if Rice and her deputy Ben Rhodes were behind politically motivated leaks of classified intelligence, former president Barack Obama was also in the know.
'Former State Department colleagues of mine have been talking about Susan Rice's role for weeks,' Richard Grenell told DailyMail.com on Monday
'She and her team certainly were hyper-partisan throughout their tenure. It makes sense.'
Grenell did not disclose who his former colleagues are.
Rice is the Obama administration official whose name became a punchline after her repeated false claims that the 2012 Benghazi terror attacks were caused by a crude Internet video....

I'd like to know, how many Democrat's were surveilled, and names unmasked during the same period that Trump's people were? There must be several Congressional Democrats who were running for reelection, that had contacts with the same foreign entities that Trump's people did. If she didn't request any of those based on the same claim of national security, or unmasked any of those Democrats names, then Rice has no defense for what she did.

People like Hannity and Laura Ingraham have been giving that guy Eli Lake from Bloomberg all kinds of time today.
I listened to him twice. I believe he wrote the piece to make it all look legal and appropriate to unmask people. His push was if people do not like it, they need to fix the law.
I think he is full of hogwash and I wish they would ignore this guy.
That argument isn't going to work. Because of the way President Trump presented the information, the dem crazies and their media slaves went overboard to say that nothing that illegal and awful happened.
Yeah, I heard Marie Barf on Fox this afternoon claiming this happens all the time and there is noting illegal about it. Oh, and that this still does not support Trumps claim of being under surveillance.... Just a couple weeks ago Trump was lying and has no credibility.....

A very good point and one that the general public will easily understand when this comes to trial. This is going to be soooo good watching on C-SPAN. Almost gives me the feeling of can’t miss TV from the summer of 1974.
(Used to come home from Henry Post Airfield after working an all-nighter, take the pregnant wife to a Dr. appt and then come home and glue myself to the nets to watch the Watergate Committee do its thing for the rest of the day. My question is where does Comey fit, in this? He just remarked in the most recent hearing that there was no evidence Trump’s tweet was true, that he was “wire tapped”, by Obama.
Did he not know Trump phone calls to Australia and some other country we’re captured and said to be on transcripts? The details of the conversations were quoted in the NYT.
Comey does not seem to know about, or have to answer for what is going on against Trump, or is possibly a part of it.
I can not forget that this boob let Hillary skate on emails and on sharing classified information, on the NON-EXISTENT standard for justification of treasonous acts... Motivation.
Comey will say Susan Rice had no “malicious” motivation. With Comey the new standard will be “malicious” motivation. Just watch.
