As The Susan Rice Scandal Explodes, The Russia Election Hacking Story Gets Murkier

Scandal: While the momentum behind the Russia-election-meddling story chugs along, the claim that sparked the entire drama — that Russians hacked the Democratic National Committee — appears to have suffered a big blow. Does anybody care?

The Russia connection was first made by a private cybersecurity firm whose work has been treated as unassailable — until last week, when it had to rewrite and retract statements made to support that claim.

To understand what happened and why it is significant requires going through a brief timeline of events.

My, my now it turns out that the DNC never allowed the FBI to view its servers to verify the information developed by CrowdStrike, its contractor, that "proved" the Russians "hacked" into its computers. Not only that, but CrowdStrike's procedures have been substantially discredited and the "evidence" of Russian hacking appeared to be quite crude.

Add to this the facts that: (1) John Brennan of the CIA was desperately trying to find a rationale for surveillance of the Trump campaign and (2) the CIA had a piece of software it used to mimic Russian hacking, and it becomes clear what really happened. The DNC was being hurt by the leaks that were being published by Wikileaks and desperately wanted to blame somebody, particularly the Trump campaign. They decided the way to do it was to blame the Russians and charge collusion between them and the Trump campaign. Brennan then came up with and planted fake evidence of Russian "hacking" on the DNC computers, "evidence" that CrowdStrike, the DNC's house "expert," then conveniently found and gave to the FBI, that the DNC repeatedly prohibited from accessing the DNC computers to verify CrowdStrike's findings.

Russiagate is nothing but a giant hoax, just like Rathergate that was used against GWB and the fake midnight SR-71 mission to Iran that GHWB never flew at the end of the 190 campaign.

“Russiagate is nothing but a giant hoax”

Yep. Where is the evidence?

It appears the DNC and their minions are the “Russians”.

What I find most fascinating is the lack of rationale with regard to any external involvement, alleged or actual. What would be the motivation for the Russian government to want The Donald in office? HRC would have been a far better POTUS from the Russian perspective as they have proven time and time again to be able to manipulate her with $. The Donald, though admiring of Putin’s patriotism and love for his country, is the greatest obstacle to any Russian expansionism. Putin simply would not want The Donald if his aims were world domination.

The Democratic strategy since the election has been “Concentrate on those bad Russian bears, ignore Obama his commissars and their crimes. Putin is the enemy!”

The Russian story has been obvious fake news from the very beginning. Months later all they have is: “We’re at the beginning stages of the investigation”. It’s 100% fraudulent. If anyone watched the White House Briefing yesterday you’ll see that the Russian questions died down because it was a way for Sean to turn it into a Susan Rice answer. This stuff is a joke and may prove to be the ultimate unraveling of the country if Republicans and Trump haters don’t smarten up.

I think it’s becoming clear that they manufactured the “Russian conspiracy” to justify the surveillance of the Trump campaign for political purposes.

Susan Rice’s ethnicity gives her a get out of jail free card according to Obama.

Hilarious, the evidence coming out is that the Obozo admin/DNC fabricated this whole thing AND hoped their spying on the Trump team would produce evidence of it. It was a big ol goose egg for the Obozo administration.

What's that ol sayin, “The Chickens are comin home to roost”.

This is sooooo damn sweet. {{{backfire}}} lol

These are the folks who need to spy on Trump because of Russia but won’t look at social media conversations of refugees.

Traitors who should be shot. More interested in power than doing the right thing.

Nothing but a hoax. And several weeks ago, WIKILEAKs released
information that the CIA or NSA has software that can make hacks
appear to anyone or any country they chose.

It’s not murkier. It’s clear it is a hoax.

Every thing they have produced regarding the “Russia” scandal always boils down to this:

We don’t think it’s fair that Americans can watch RT. (that’s it folks, that’s all, that’s all they have)

so Ray76 has posted connections linking crowdstrike & evelyn farkas to the Atlantic Council.

your post indicates brennan “was desparately trying to find a rationaled for surveillance of the trump campaign and (2) the CIA had a piece of software it used to mimic Russian hacking”

it’s been published that rice distributed information she harvested to brennan.

have you seen any documentation that susan rice may be connected to the Atlantic Council?

"The DNC was being hurt by the leaks that were being published by Wikileaks and desperately wanted to blame somebody, particularly the Trump campaign. They decided the way to do it was to blame the Russians and charge collusion between them and the Trump campaign."

If it ever comes out that the above is true (and probably won't even if it is), this would be risking war with a nuclear power for the sole purpose of partisan politics.

Meanwhile, juicy stories such has the domestic hack attack against the state of Georgia’s election system just fade into the woodwork. We really need a special prosecutor for the whole mess.

My question is... WTF is the CIA doing targeting ANYTHING inside the US? Are they not barred from operating inside US borders?

No, there is NO need for a special prosecutor.

Those rascals take on a life of their own and go wandering off the reservation.

Look at Bent Bill and Monica. Star wandered all over the board and got nothing done.
