Do you suspect that the noise over Trump campaign contacts with the Russians is just a political hit arranged by Obama insiders before they left? You got fresh evidence of that Monday, with news that then-national security adviser Susan Rice was behind the “unmasking” of Trumpites in transcripts of calls with Russian officials.
Again, nothing on the public record so far shows that anyone on Team Trump said anything improper on those calls.
It’s no surprise that US spooks intercept foreign officials’ calls. But intelligence community reports don’t disclose the names of US citizens on the other end. To get that info, a high official must (but rarely does) push to “unmask” the Americans’ names.
Bloomberg’s Eli Lake now reports that Rice started doing just that last year.
That was perfectly legal. But we also know that the Obama administration later changed the classification of the “unmasked” transcripts, and other similar material, in order to spread the information as widely as possible within the government.
The motive for that was (supposedly) to prevent Team Trump from burying it all once it took over. But the result was that it made it relatively safe for someone (or someones) to leak the info to the press. Which made it likely somebody would leak. So Team Obama’s “spread the info” initiative certainly broke the spirit of the laws.

The whole “vast Russian conspiracy” was cooked up and pushed HARD by the Dems and the ene-media AFTER the election because they KNEW Obama’s illegal spying on Trump would come out soon. They had to cook up a cover story for the spying. And that was to say that they HAD to spy on Trump because he was colluding with the Russians.
We all know how bizarre it seemed when the Dems got so obsessed with Russian conspiracy theories on the election. They had to push it hard because, otherwise, as soon as the public heard about Obama spying on Trump, they would immediately associate it with Watergate. Only non-stop, daily insinuations of Russian conspiracies for months would be enough to push Watergate out of the public’s minds as the automatic reaction to the news of Obama spying on Trump.

I feel like this is Deep-State vs Deep-State. The thugs on the left illegally abused the system to find something on Team Trump - and despite their criminal behavior, they failed. Then Obama's minions tried to make hay from innuendo, because they had enough material to sound ominous. In response, the patriotic half of the Deep-State is now outing those who abused their power. I've seen Mad Magazine, where everyone loses in these confrontations, and that's just about what I expect.
I fear my government far more than any terrorist. Yes, terrorists kill a few dozen people a year. That is sad and infuriating. I wish we could stop them.
But my government can destroy my life, deprive me of freedom, rob me of money and the fruit of my labor, seize my property, invade my privacy for nefarious reasons, and overall tyranize me.
I will take the Terrorist over the Tyrant any day.
I have been making a similar observation for years- I tell people that I have more respect for thug with gun- at least I know his intentions- where as the govt with pen or warrant can wreck my existence for no reason

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton struck a deal with the State Department while serving in the Obama administration that allowed her to take ownership of records she did not want made public, according to recently released reports. Clinton and her then-deputy chief of staff Huma Abedin were permitted to remove electronic and physical records under a claim they were "personal" materials and "unclassified, non-record materials."
Judicial Watch made the revelation after filing a FOIA request with the State Department and obtaining a record of the agreement. The newly released documents show the deal allowed Clinton and Abedin to remove documents related to particular calls and schedules, and the records would not be "released to the general public under FOIA."The released records included a list of designated materials that "would not be released to the general public under FOIA" and were to be released "to the Secretary with this understanding."

Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton released a statement condemning the agreement between the government and Clinton. "We already know the Obama State Department let Hillary Clinton steal and then delete her government emails, which included classified information. But these new records show that was only part of the scandal," Fitton said. "These new documents show the Obama State Department had a deal with Hillary Clinton to hide her calls logs and schedules, which would be contrary to FOIA and other laws."
Republicans should find out the whereabouts of govt-issue computers Obama illegally removed from the White House (US Government property) which probably have been relocated to Obama’s OFA operations center located in his DC residence.
