Hopefully we get another this year
I’m good with that...
I’ve read it. Have you?
But it makes 2018 real crucial.
Yes I know there are a lot of Rat seats up for grabs, but take nothing for granted.
Never underestimate the ability of the GOPE to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
The GOPE has the genetic disposition to make anything FUBAR.
If Kennedy retires or Ginsburg is finally declared legally dead then yes, the dems will go full scorched earth: leftist politicians and talking heads wailing and moaning in front of every tv camera available, the MSM in full meltdown and riots in the streets.
Good times.
“Ive read it. Have you?”
Yes. That is why I found your comment strange.
This is fantastic, and I needed some good news today. Many of the rumors and innuendos floating around are harshing my mellow.
The method outlined in the article does not require any rule changes. Today the rules were changed.
And that is bad?
If you had read the article you would know that it would take weeks and weeks to get him confirmed while giving the Democrats a forum and tying up the senate.
I read everything I could find in the library on nukes back in the days of youth.
I'd much rather see images than the real thing, though.
55-45
I count 52 GOP plus Manchin WV plus Heidi from Dakotas and COL democrat and Donnelly of Indiana for 56
minus McConnell as NO to allow him to bring up the matter later? = 55 ??
Oh, McConnell probably wanted to turn and run but when he turned he found Trump standing right behind him. Trmp gave him a serious look, said “turn around and fight or I will make it my personal goal in life to see you primaried right out in ‘18. And you know I will”. That’s what I’d like to believe, anyway.

“Well give them credit for actually doing something courageous for once. “
for second, acutally ...
they already were courageous once in refusing to hold hearings on obama’s nomination of Merrick Garland.
The Senate cloture vote was 55-45, McConnell yes and Bennet (D-CO) no. The yes rats where Manchin, Heidi, and Donnelly.
What’s confusing me is the nuke option vote itself, which was party line, Whatever the ruling of the chair was, the Republicans voted no and no won. I thought it was supposed to be the other way around.
In any case, voting against nuking was in effect voting for the filibuster and voters in ND, WV, and IN should be reminded of that. The trio of vulnerable rats voting for cloture was window dressing, don’t be fooled voters!
odd
Bennett said publicly that he would vote YES for Cloture.
Bennett was the 4th DEM
McConnell voted no.
Under your plan Gorsuch would not be on the court for theses cases and more.
