A U.S. district judge last week ordered California state prison officials to provide free chest-flattening underwear, also known as compression tops, to transgender inmates at women's prisons and feminine accessories to transgender inmates at men's prisons.
Requiring inmates to buy compression tops "effectively" denies those items to individuals who cannot afford them, according to U.S. District Judge Jon Tigar, who issued the order on Friday. Taxpayers, therefore, must foot the bill.

Hey, it’s worked for the governor so why shouldn’t prison freaks have it.
The problem is in NY and CA the prime targets like Manhattan have a lot of conservatives making a buck during the day.

Requiring inmates to purchase ANYTHING ever, effectively makes those items unavailable to those who cannot afford them. This runs the gamut from a new toothbrush to a new TV. “Compression underwear” does not seem to be something that should be provided to inmates, at the cost of the taxpayers.

Real men do not wear compression tops, so I do not see why mentally ill women who think they are men would need those tops. Real women do not wear compression bottoms for the purpose of hiding a groin bulge, so I do not see why mentally ill men who think they are women would need those bottoms. Why should taxpayers foot the bill for supporting these fantasies, if the obvious anatomical differences are not affecting the criminal’s body image delusions?
It would be of God if that happens.
