Trump’s Saudi visit sends ‘clear and powerful message’

The US president Donald Trump’s upcoming visit to Saudi Arabia will enhance cooperation between the United States and Muslim countries in the fight against extremism, the kingdom’s foreign minister said.

Describing the visit as historic, Adel Al Jubeir said Mr Trump’s time in Saudi Arabia would include a bilateral summit, a meeting with Arab Gulf leaders and another with leaders of Arab and Muslim countries.

"It’s a clear and powerful message that the US harbours no ill will" toward the Arab and Muslim world, he said.

"It also lays to rest the notion that America is anti-Muslim. It’s a very clear message to the world that the US and the Arab Muslim countries can form a partnership," Mr Al Jubeir said.

"It will lead to, we believe, enhanced cooperation between the US and Arab and Islamic countries in combating terrorism and extremism, and it will change the conversation with regards to America’s relationship with the Arab and Islamic world."(continued)

Saudi Arabia is an apartheid nation. One set of rules for mudslimes. A different set for Christians.

Our President should not be visiting there.

Gorka (on Trump’s NSC staff) has a very sound plan for defeating ISIS. I always thought of Saudi Arabia as ISIS with fewer beheadings, but his speech this morning convinced me otherwise. The Saudis still have a primitive Sharia state but they are not a caliphate. The IS caliphate needs to be our first target and the Saudis can help.

Trump’s visit is a CIA plot to generate ISIS sentiment inside Saudi Arabia to go into open revolt against the Sauds.

...and Trump has no clue about it.

The enemy of my enemy may not be my friend, but he might still be a useful tool.

And I think most of us can agree that the Saudis are definitely tools.

Will Trump have to surrender his Bible at the airport when he enters Saudi?

“It also lays to rest the notion that America is anti-Muslim
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I know the policy of the U.S. is not anti-muslim and hasn’t been since at least FDR.
Plenty of Americans are anti-muslim, though.
With good reason.
Islam has been at war with the U.S. since its founding.
It was a business venture with Royal Dutch Shell, but Shell dropped out, so it now belongs to the Saudis. As long as they hire Americans to operate the plant, go for it. Here is hoping that more foreigners decide to establish businesses in the US. The more, the merrier.
Members of the Saudi royal family finance and facilitate terrorism, including 9/11.
Isis are headhunters and one major head that ISIS is after is the Saudi Royal family. There is no love lost between ISIS and Saudi.
