How about this: Read the Preamble to the Constitution. It sets out the purposes of our compact. Articles I - VII are the means. Society, through government, has a compelling interest in preserving itself. As opposed to islam, Christianity strengthens the civil society and not only should not be proscribed, it should be encouraged.
