That would be one good reason to resist releasing the emails.
Another possibility: it avoided creating the impression that the W.H. is “persecuting” HRC. Now, we see that the State Dept. was compelled to release the evidence.
Yet another reason for State to resist releasing any emails: if they cooperated with such requests routinely — except when there was something to hide — then, every refusal to release documents would be accompanied by cries of “cover-up!”. By routinely resisting requests for information, no inferences can be drawn from any particular refusal.
Ley’s not get pissy just yet. I’m sure President Trump has a plan.

NoPardons, I cannot simply watch folks carp about Trump day after day and not address it.
We’ve had 110 days for folks to “get over it”, (Trump being elected), but some folks have convinced themselves that there is scandal after scandal with Trump.
There are threads every single day ragging on Trump or his daughter or her husband.
What are folks like me supposed to do? We’re on a Conservative forum with a president who has been implementing Conservative policy, and a certain group of folks who have refused to acknowledge good policy is being implemented.
This is the best president we’ve had in 30 years, but you couldn’t tell it by what has been posted on the forum.
Despite good policy being implemented, Ivanka and Jared are addressed as if Satan incarnate. It’s gotten very old.
Trump is implementing his/our agenda, and yet folks are addressing things as if Ivanka and Jared were co-presidents without Trump in the mix at all.
Enough is enough!
What do you folks want?
I had to address one guy a few minutes ago for not wanting to acknowledge the good Trump has done, but sill wanting to fixate on Ivanaka and Jared.
We have tried to link to positive things after folks saying something that wasn’t true. We have tried explaining that Ivanka and Jared haven’t done anything wrong. It just doesn’t matter. They are despised, and no amount of explaining in a rational way that they aren’t getting their way will be accepted. Truth doesn’t matter.
We have been patient as can be allowing the time to pass hoping folks would see that all the talk of the Kurshners ruining Trump’s administration was unfounded. Now 110 or so days in, the anti-Ivanka and Jared folks still won’t admit to themselves that Trump is doing what we wanted.
How long do folks need. 100 days? Four months? Six months? 12 months? Two years?
When does it stop?
We’re a Conservative forum and Conservative policy is being implemented. When are folks going to come around to realizing that?

If you can read those and still feel the need to complain, the fault is not with Trump.

He isn't "perfect" and yes, has a huge blind spot. Ignoring it all helps nobody; least of all him and especially not us.
As many people have said, for most of the history of this nation, yes, he has a steep learning curve to over come ( which I foolishly did NOT believe would be this problematical ), because he has never held any elected office, nor commanded an army ( though the presidents who were generals, had problems too...including Washington...but Washington was put in a position unheard of, before ! ), he has had problems in a few areas, others wouldn't have had. Still and all, I haven't vociferously complained, nor even posted much if anything about that.
I have posted quite a number of "atta boy" and cheering on post re much of what Trump has done. But you have been blind to all of that. Bless your heart....
