Here is the description of another anti-Trump book from the same catalog: Now more than ever, it's time to preach. The election of Donald Trump left countless faith leaders across the country speechless. Now that he is president, silence must give way to prophetic preaching. Christians have long debated whether politics should be addressed from the pulpit. Following Donald Trump's controversial, divisive rise to power and the sweeping changes his fledgling administration has already proposed, that's no longer a question -- political preaching will be the order of the day, even for pastors who try to steer clear of controversy. It's up to preachers to make the church great again by leading it to embrace and embody God's concern for those whose lives are at stake in a Trump administration. Veteran teacher, preacher, and author Wes Allen offers a blueprint for addressing current events through a Gospel lens, persuasively and pastorally-- without engaging in divisive, antagonistic rhetoric. Available in EPUB, EPDF, and paperback (EPUB and EPDF will release March 28, 2017)

Here is the description of still another wonderful book in the same catalog:For two thousand years, Christianity has been wrong about sex. To this day Christians grapple with defining gender, sexism, heterosexism, and what constitutes healthy sex. Miguel A. De La Torre--noted ethicist and scholar on the intersection of religion with race, class, gender, and sexuality--shines new light on these intimate issues in Liberating Sexuality, a provocative compilation of his writings that apply justice to the most private parts of our lives. Grounded in biblical scholarship, Liberating Sexuality will help you discover new ways of thinking about God beyond gender, heterosexism, masturbation, and many other topics. Wrestle with controversial topics such as an androgynous Jesus, ethical S&M, and confronting racism in one's sexual preference. Gain a critical understanding of how others view their own sexuality in ways you could never before comprehend.

Gee, Dr. Rev . . . Where are your chapters on religious liberty, terrorism, totalitarianism, political corruption, media propaganda,
The rule of law, judicial overreach, taxes?

confronting racism in one's sexual preference.

In the school where I taught, nothing got the black boys laid more often than accusing a white girl of being racist. They took great pleasure in the fact that they could get other white girls to use the accusation to guilt them into it, as well.

I wish this were true. I don't want government involved in the sex lives of consenting adults. I also don't want to hear about anyone's sex life. Demanding that I openly celebrate some pervert's sex life is the exact opposite of recognizing it as the most private part of a person's life.

So...the takeaway is — what? That Mr. De La Torre is every bit the towering man of solid Christian faith as was — who? Caligula? Diocletian? Mohammed? Che Guevara? Chairman Mao?

What “Christianity” — exactly — does this spiritual street rat claim?

This is where sociopolitical eisegesis gets you: God as the dutiful servant of your personal, emotionally-propelled agenda; a Jesus who died a torturous death in agony so you could explore the deepest caverns of your own perversion and debauchery, and then celebrate it in print to fob it off as truth to universe that — because it won’t instantly, totally embrace every shred of it as The Fullness of the Gospel — is quite obviously the incarnation of evil, on hot rails to Hell, and filled with hatred.

Welcome to 2017: hate is love, love is hate, white is black, black is white, down is up, up is down, Satan is God, God is Satan; everything Jesus reviled is glorified, and all that he glorified is reviled.

Tick-tock, tick tock, tick-tock...
