Pity Theresa May won’t.

She had better hope her election gambit pays off and does not backfire.

The outspoken politician called Brussels “ruthless in its negotiating techniques” and said “they are going to play dirty.”>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

(The Belgians tried the same crap after WWII, but got their arses kicked, the government in exile from London upon returned to Brussels was roundly ignored by Belgians because none of the people in the government in exile had fought in the war, and instead lined their pockets from the lucre of the Belgian Congo for the duration.

They were slightly Vischy as they are now.

I think the UK understood there would be some monetary pain initially but in the long term obtain far more in return.

Liberals/Socialists appear to be all about payback and revenge.....they love to torture and inflict pain where possible...especially when things don’t go their way.

The EU offers us, in the U.S. nothing. We should seek to include the UK in our Free Trade Area. Norway and Switzerland too.

Then, we and the UK should seek to form the nucleus of a new military alliance. One to eventually replace NATO. I would love all mature democratic countries of the world to join in, and for what I’ll call immature democracies to become candidates, but I think we should work out the framework. NATO has become ridiculous with every member having a veto power, and with voting having nothing to do with whether countries meet their NATO obligations. There are enough mature democracies in the world so that, collectively, we would be impregnable.

It makes sense making the abusive spouse pay.

Good, the Brits are getting their backbones back.

I thought it was too late, but there may be hope for them yet.
