“You and your cohorts let the California situation develop and hardly have a hope in Hell of reversing it. No need to get all huffy and “Patriotic,” with others who simply state the obvious.”

And I stand by my statement that as California has gone (despite the attempts by the Right here to counter the Left) so too will your states do the same in relatively short order. You are shameful in your attacks on the decent people who live in California, which was the birthplace of modern Conservatism back when Ronald Reagan was our governor. And I am left wondering with all you “nattering nabobs of nonsense” would have done faced with the American Revolution? My bet is that you would have turned tail and run back to England rather than fight. To a great extent, we are where we are as a country today because of all of you limp d-cks! So enjoy cowering wherever it is that you take your daily dumps “safe” for the moment from the big picture. But you kids will p-ss on your graves for your unwillingness to stand up and directly confront the enemies of freedom.

Army Corp Engineer Matthew Kelley started this in an assertion that earth was tilled 3 feet deep which would result in massive silting in wetlands.

I am no expert on farming or tilling soil, but what tractor can pull a commercial tiller that's set for 3' depth ?

The CA bashers here on FR forget that JimRob lives in CA and is fighting the good fight along with many other Freepers stuck in CA with slithering Liberal traitors.

How many illegal scumbags voted for the POS Governor and his henchmen sucking off the state at the Capitol. IMO, the CA Assembly is inhabited by whacked-out Liberals elected, more than likely, by voter fraud and Hollyweird feces. The GOP politicians in CA consist of spineless, gutless, gonadless weasels spewing the same puke that comes out of Ryan’s mouth.

Sounds like the Corp is playing “Calvin Ball” - making up the rules as they go along.

“The state will have to go through a financial collapse to have a chance at restoring sanity.”

That is EXACTLY what needs to occur. And actually, the more radically Leftist the government here becomes, the more quickly that event is going to take place. As for moving, at my age, that isn’t a good option. Besides, moving out is simply giving in, which is what too many of you “outsiders” see as the right course of action. We would not have a country today, if you had been the majority back in 1776. The fact of the matter is is that you are simply a bunch of gutless weenies, who see bailing out as a moral course for those of us who made this state our life-long home. If I told you openly what I really thought of you, this post would be removed. Magnum44, yeah right, that’s probably simply your waist measurement, which compliments your size 4 hat size.

In addition to your two awesome posts, I would like to add:

I recommend that everyone look at the county by county vote tally for Trump in CA. You will see that not “ALL” California is Liberal. LA County used illegals to vote for the Queen of Corruption! Thus, the Queen of Corruption claims the popular vote. I can’t wait to see the Commission on Voter Fraud expose the truth of the 2016 election.

We’ve been screwed over because of Voter Fraud and Illegals voting and putting scum into political office in Sacramento.

If I told you openly what I really thought of you, this post would be removed.

I don't know who pissed in your cornflakes, but it wasn't me. Just FYI, I am no native, but I have lived in CA for a total of 24 years, and 20 of those these last two decades. I have been gainfully employed the entire time and in any other part of the country my pay would be significant. In CA its getting tougher and tougher to justify. I have already made my retirement plans to move out, just a matter of time. I wont miss the taxes, gun-grabbers, illegals, and enviro-nuts. If you are a CA native and choose to stay, you probably benefited from owning a home that you bought 50 or 60 years ago, cashing in during one of the housing booms of the last 20 years, and retiring in a rural area. That's no reason for you to insult me. If you are like me and transplanted in at a peak market, you would see no benefit to paying a million dollars for a 1800 sq ft home with 6 feet between you and your neighbor. And you'd still be pissed to have to deal with traffic and pot holes and libs everyday.

He violated the new “mini mountain range” rules:

Here is a excerpt:

“The report concludes that if the EPA and Corps interpretations were allowed, “most if not all plowing” would be considered a “discharge of a pollutant” and require a federal permit.”

FYI I am a CA native, been here for all of my nearly 77 years. And I did, by the sweat of my and my wife's brows, managed to build a nice home on 1.5 acres 35 years ago. And It has appreciated, and I have “benefited” by Prop 13 ( although it is a two-edged sword in that the only way you keep the benefit is by not moving). And it is sad that what I see today is a shadow of the California in which I was privileged to grow up. But all that aside, it is still a choice place to live, even with the traffic and the poor politics. We all have choices, you don't like it here, there's the door. But realize that there are few if any places in this country where the process that's taken down California is also operative You can't run away from what the Liberals (Communists in reality) want by way of transformation. And also realize that for the most part, those who have been the "architects" of this transformation have not been native-born Californians, a fact that is also true of the other two states on the West Coast. At this juncture, I am just fed up to my eyeballs with people like you who like to verbally crap on the place I've chosen to live my life. So yes, someone pissed in my cornflakes and It's guys like you and every other person who thinks he or she can blather about the "ain't it awful in California."

Sorry, but I strongly disagree. What good is your property if you do not have an access road to get to it? Some taxes are legitimate. Deeds are far more than rental contracts. It must be miserable to be you.

You can't run away from what the Liberals (Communists in reality) want by way of transformation.

A decision to move to a location where the quality of life can be improved by whatever means is not "running away".

I started this by responding to your comment "...California, on it’s worst day, is light years ahead of any other state in the union!" It has some good features and a whole lot of PITA that goes with it.

And I have too much simple respect for a 77 year old who has put up with it to respond to the name calling (people like you who like to verbally crap, gutless weenies, Magnum44...your waist measurement, which compliments your size 4 hat size.). Like I said, I am not the one pissing on your cereal.
