CIA Director Mike Pompeo touted a 'more aggressive' Central Intelligence Agency at a session at CIA headquarters Tuesday night, using coded language to throw some shade at his predecessor.   'We are back in the business of stealing secrets,' Pompeo boasted.

Pompeo's comments, made to a small group of reporters and reported by Politico, came the same day as John Brennan, who served as CIA chief under President Obama, testified before Congress.

It was Brennan who said on National Public Radio in March of 2016 that the U.S. doesn't 'steal secrets.'

'We uncover. We discover. We reveal. We obtain. We elicit. We solicit – all of that,' he said back then.

Former CIA officers found Brennan's comments laughable.  'Is he joking?' ex-spy John Sipher wrote in a column for...

Obama’s agencies stole lots of secrecy — from Americans.

As I understand, the CIA has not used human espionage agents handled by agency persons for many years, possibly back as far as the infamous Senate Intelligence Committee headed by Senator Church.

They have instead used electronic and now cyber methods (phone taps, listening devises, etc.)Probably their most reliable information has been from friendly foreign intelligence agencies (mostly Britain, France and Italy). (IMO).

Perhaps Trump’s CIA should try and steal back all of the secrets Team Obama/Hillary gave away to our enemies.

“We uncover. We discover. We reveal. We obtain. We elicit. We solicit – all of that,’ he said back then.”

Right. What does “it” mean.

This is stupid. Everyone has been obtaining information for about 5000 years. Talk to Nefertiti, Cleopatra, Mata Hari, the Rosenbergs, Aldrich Ames, Giacomo Casanova, Klaus Fuchs, Major John André, James Armistead Lafayette, Frederick Joubert Duquesne, Virginia Hall, Shi Pei Pu, Ray Mawby, The Cambridge Five, Adolf Tolkachev...........Gee, there just doesn’t seem to be enough of these people running around, does there. And this is a small list.

Grow up. We have been doing it too. And never quit. By now everyone know that Obama put a trace on Trump starting in mid 2016? Isn’t that spying? Don’t kid yourselves. Obama is just as guilty as everyone else. This isn’t fake news. This is out and out BS.

Spooks don’t squeal and they don’t target innocent Americans.

CIA is foreign affairs not domestic.

And when did SEAL operatives start singing about spec ops to the press?

This stink all started under Obama and the stench is still here.

In 1929, Herbert Hoover's new Secretary of State, Henry Stimson, on learning of the existence of this clandestine bureau, cut off funds with the statement that “Gentlemen do not read each others mail.” The organization was closed; Yardley was out of work.

Desperate for money, he became a writer. In 1931 he published The American Black Chamber, revealing the secrets of his defunct organization. The book became a bestseller—in Japan as well as in America. The Japanese were outraged, and set out to change their crypto systems to something more secure.

Yes, Gentlemen do read others mail.

http://www.wnd.com/2013/02/shock-claim-obama-picks-muslim-for-cia-chief/

As WND has reported, former FBI Islam expert John Guandolo has long warned that the federal government is being infiltrated by members of the radical Muslim Brotherhood. But Guandolo now warns that by appointing Brennan to CIA director, Obama has not only chosen a man “naive” to these infiltrations, but also picked a candidate who is himself a Muslim.

“Mr. Brennan did convert to Islam when he served in an official capacity on the behalf of the United States in Saudi Arabia,” Guandolo told interviewer and radio host Tom Trento.

“...ghost cookies for folks to trail.”

there once was a man who found a skunk in his basement and afraid if he disturbed it the skunk would stink up the whole house.

So he put a trail of crumbs from the basement door out to the field so that the skunk would leave on its own.

The next morning the guy saw the crumbs were gone. Checking in the basement he found there were two skunks.
