The Associated Press will no longer employ Melanie Plenda, a leftist activist exposed by Breitbart News, after she was caught violating the news wire services editorial standards. Plenda announced that the AP has terminated her effective immediately in an interview with the Washington Posts Erik Wemple. Her termination comes as a Nov. 10, 2016, Facebook post she wrotein which she pledged resistance to then-incoming President Donald J. Trumpwas found to be in direct violation of the APs editorial standards.
Plenda, in her interview with Wemple, confirmed she wrote the leftist activist post on her Facebook pagea post she has since deleted, but of which Breitbart News published a screenshot earlier this week.
Theres no denial from Plenda that she authored the tract in question, Wemple wrote, summarizing their interview.
I wrote that, Plenda is quoted as saying.
It started out on her personal, private Facebook page, she says, and then someone shared it more widely, Wemple continued, paraphrasing the interview with Plenda before dropping the biggest revelationone the APs own spokeswoman Lauren Easton would not confirm earlier in the day for Breitbart Newss second investigative report into Plendas activitiesthat the AP has terminated Plenda entirely.
The AP, she continues, has barred her from future political assignments because of the posting, Wemple wrote.

Took them over six months to figure this out?
The most significant news in this entire article is the statement that the AP actually has editorial standards. Personally, I thought that was a myth, like a unicorn or an principled Democrat.
“AP actually has editorial standards”
AP’s standards : if get caught spewing fake news, fire the expendables and keep pretending having standards
So, has Melanie Plenda really been terminated by the AP?
Or have they only “barred her from future political assignments because of the posting as she stated to Erik Wemple of the Post?
The AP statements on the issue arent really clear.
They come across as kind of weasly, slimy and Clintonion.
ALSO:
Has the unidentified woman mentioned in the following quote been identified by the NHGOP?
Does she really exist or is the statement untrue and part of the cover-up?
If this really did occur, was the woman part of the scam?
A freelancer covering the NHGOP fundraiser for AP was outside the event when she was invited in by a woman who appeared to be a part of the event, Lauren Easton, director of media relations for The AP, said in an email to WMUR-9. AP stands by its reporting.
I’m sorry. That first sentence really caught me off guard. The headline should have had the usual BARF! alert. AP claims to have journalistic standards? Seriously?
I've never known a Lib to have a private, unexpressed thought. They're always virtue signaling.
-—virtue signaling.——
Now that is a good phrase to replace the more cumbersome “I use bumper stickers to pat my self on the back”
Can’t believe that snowflake’s car doesn’t have one of those spew-inducing “Coexist” stickers!
Can only imagine the percentage of AP goons with such ‘private thoughts’.
Heck, most of them probably have ‘private thoughts’ that are murderous toward conservatives.
>>They problem is not that she is a biased dishonest Leftard who should not be posing as an “objective” MSM reporter. No, the problem is merely that she was careless in allowing her ***true*** self & character to be known.
Right, in a yellow-journalism-free media, all of those JINOs who were colluding in the Journolist forum would’ve been fired.
These agencies know the politics of these agents. They don’t want the public to get wind of it. Same with Hollywood giving jobs to blacklisted screenwriters using pseudonyms. The blacklist wasn’t created by the government. Private citizens were denied the names so they couldn’t boycott the films.
I got cut off 3 times by a Prius driver leaving work yesterday.
Because she was caught.
Mine are scarier:
Someone needs to put a Trump/Pence ‘16 sticker top and center. Then start a pool on when it gets noticed.
I know what you mean. It’s a hoot to watch them go through the motions as if we didn’t know what they’ve been up to.
