I think she is probably genuinely shocked. She has a blind hatred of Trump and the only people she knows feel the same hatred. The say and fantasize horrible things to each other. Their media wingmen cover for them if anything gets out into the public. She can’t believe the media and her Hollywood buddies can’t save her on this one. She only acted on what everyone she knows is saying.

You know, if she would put this whole shtick on as an over-the-top parody act, she might actually achieve actual funniest on stage.
If we still a single professional comedian worth their salt, a parody of her doing this press conference would be on TV within the next week and it would be HILARIOUS!
it’s really a no-brainer to mock this to the point that people would be rolling out of their chairs with laughter.
Oh, how I wish we had a true conservative channel. I could easily develop several shows for this channel either daily or weekly based on the best and most funny commentary on FR, ranging from biting political commentary to incredibly funny parody and humor.
